The Unpredicted Friendship ~ [PRIVATE: Raijin and Utena]

It was a productive day today. I found myself training, and taking a walk through the woods out on the borders of my kingdom. Everything had been rebuilt in better shape than the first time it stood. But after a busy day of walking, training and doing the normal things I would do, I have decided to take a peaceful nap in this serene place, leaning against a very comfortable tree. A very relaxed expression was on my face, as the sun shone on my skin to keep me warm as I slept.

Errands were made earlier. Raijin was finally free for the rest of the day. In the town he realized that he was so close to his old friend's kingdom, the same one he had attacked. But now, now it looked so well. Rebuilt and restored to it's original status. He'd thought about visiting to see if they were still around. As he peacefully walked alongside the borders of the kingdom, heading to the entrance, he stumbled upon the same pink haired girl from before. It was the prince. Raijin, hidden behind his mask and cloak, stopped in his tracks and watched her lay there in the sun. (Yeah, I know, creepy. Lol)

OOC: Not that creepy.

My body's natural defense system kicked in, and my hand began to glow a bit, slightly. Trying to wake me up and warn me that someone was nearby. But it was to no avail as I was too sleepy to awake from my pleasant dreams. But, I was a light sleeper most times. If someone wished to wake me up, they easily could.

Raijin already caught sight of her glowing hands. Was this some sort of defense mechanism? Only one way to find out. He looked at the grass and knelt down to pick up a small twig, tossing it at her afterwards. Something like this was sure to wake her up.

I blinked and fluttered open my eyes, finding the twig in my lap. My initial instinct was to look up, thinking it had fallen from the tree above my head. Seeing that it didn't and that it was broken off from somewhere, I looked in front of me to see a man. That man that attacked my kingdom and then helped to defend it afterward. I supposed that meant we were friends. Well, no use in trying to make enemies with him. I softly smiled and picked the twig off of my sleepy body, yawning and finally waking up. The glowing on my hands diminished to nothing.

"Hm? Oh it's you."

"Good to see you again, prince." How amazing, she recognized him after so long. Just the thought of that put a smile on his face. Raijin didn't really have friends, just associates, but after that event she had truly become a real friend. "It looks so beautiful. The kingdom."

"Thank you. That means a lot coming from you."

I spoke in a low tone, the tone that sounded only a bit groggy as I had just woken up. It was a few pitches lower than my natural tone anyway. But I smiled and stretched and then was able to function completely and coherently.

"Your name... it seems so long ago and in that rage... I don't... I don't think I can remember it too well. It started with an R, right? I remember saying your name over when I was all angry, but after that everything just went blank."

I chuckled and looked out on the horizon towards where the kingdom was. Was her perhaps on his way there to check up on me? He truly had changed. ^^

"You're very welcome my prince." The Uchiha really did change ever since. It also looked like she accepted him now, trusted him. This was definitely good to know. "Raijin, heh. I don't blame you Prince Utena, I would have forgotten too." He chuckled and walked over to give her a hug.

"I'm surprised you remember my name to tell you the truth. And you're, actually, the only one that calls me prince."

I smiled. I liked the royal treatment, but eventually, if he were to be my friend, learning to call me Utena would be more natural and acceptable later on. But, of course, the pace we were at now would do. And then he hugged me. It took me by surprise at first and then after a moment, I wrapped my arms around him as well, hugging him back.

"Well, Raijin. It's nice to see you again too,"

"I'd never forget your name, haha. Am I really?" The Uchiha giggled and scratched his head in a comedic fashion after recieving his hug. "So what do you say you show me around. I was hoping to see how the place looks." He smiled and waited for her answer, hoping that she'd say yes.

I smiled and stood up immediately after he said that. I started for the way towards the kingdom, looking back at him and smiling, over my shoulder.

"Hey Uchiha boy, you comin'?"

He looked for his mask and then put it inside of his cloak. Walking after Utena as she led the way to the village.

"I'm coming! Haha."

At the Kingdom...

We arrived soon at the kingdom, my home. The gates that were already half opened, swung open as I unlocked them with my magic, then locking them once more after our entrance. I walked the streets happily, and some waved. Others carried on about their work. I continued to talk the path straight to the palace, the place we were headed. Meanwhile, pointing out various things.

"So this is my kingdom, it's pretty small, but it's very... comfortable. I guess you could say. It's a nice area to live in and well good enough for me to protect. We're not looking to expand and conquer, but we do like to make treaties with other neighboring kingdoms, if there are any. So far, we're the only ones occupying this area."

I smiled and continued on my way to the newly built palace. I was just happy that someone took an interest to this place and was as eager to see it as some of the kids were to see the palace restored.

Raijin walked at the same pace as Utena, looking at the crowds of people waving at her. So many of the townspeople were so friendly. This must have meant that she was doing a great job as a prince. Way to go Utena. "That's very good. Everyone here looks so happy. You haven't had any problems with any outsiders right?" Raijin waved at the people. Also giggling as the kids walked alongside them.

"Not since the king adopted me."

I spoke honestly.

"He said that adopting me as his kid was the greatest thing he could have done and that, he doesn't care if I'm a girl and he found out everything, I've been the most beneficial factor in helping the kingdom thrive. I tend to think otherwise, but I do try my best to keep this place upbeat."

I smiled and continued to walk down the way to the palace.

"Well, I mean. I like protecting this kingdom and the people thank me. I like to walk out on the streets and go out and have fun. I may seem like I've grown up, but I'm really just a kid, outside and in. I like to have fun, and maybe it's just a special sort of ... gift I have that I transform how people see things and go about their lives. I like to make friends, so maybe that's it?"

I laughed to myself as I walked. This kingdom, was a nice place to live.

"Well that's very good Prince Utena. With all of those great things said about you, perhaps you will become the king soon? I really do see you ruling this kingdom in the near future." It was undeniable, the Uchiha really did see some great potential in Utena. She was going to become a great ruler; just, kind, she was fit for the position. But when was the question? "Amazing. You may see yourself as a kid, but now I see you as an adult, a great leader. And I'm pretty sure that you're not done yet, I see great things coming ahead in your life."

"Gee thanks. That... that really means a lot to me, Raijin."

And soon we were at the palace doors. My home. Immediately they opened and the guards stepped aside, even so that it wasn't that big a facility to guard in the first place. The floors were all shiny and it seemed regal, even more so than the first time it stood. I smiled entering into it. This was... all I knew.

"No problem." The Uchiha followed behind, stepping into the main hall it seemed. It was so beautiful in here; way better than before. Raijin could see his reflection on the floor. Amazing. "Wow."

"You like it? Mero helped me reconstruct it once I healed from the fight we had."

I smiled and showed him around the throne room. Even the seats were new, a specific type of red silk that was color morphed through magical processes and so in the dark, it glowed. I thought that was a neat invention, and something everyone could enjoy. I waved my hand around for the gestures of the words I was about to say.

"Feel free to look around, anywhere you so desire."

"Of course! I love it actually." There was so much interest in his eyes. They were lost in the beauty of the palace. So much renovations had been made. "You guys did a great job on this." He smiled and walked over to the seats, closely examining the silk. "Sounds good."

"Hmmmm. Sorry, but you think I can shower here? I don't really want to dirty anything here." He looked at the bottom soles of his sandals and pointed at the mud. "I haven't been in the clean places lately..."

"No it's alright. Floors are meant to be walked on. So I don't mind it much and I don't think the king does either."

I said, yawning and relaxing in the throne chair for the king. My dad wouldn't mind much, would he?

"Okay." Raijin ventured through the halls, looking at the paintings and furniture. Then he came to a familiar room. It looked like a guest room of some sort. "They won't mind right? Hmm." He walked up to the bed and took off his cloak, laying down and closing his eyes. The bed was comfortable.
