The Return of Yumi

First topic message reminder :

A girl was seen not far from the falls of the river flow. She looks at the water blankly just sits down on the grassy surface. The girl appeared to have blue hair and a white flower in her hair. She wore a necklace which ran around her neck and had blue diamond incrested into the front of the necklace. On her front side she had blue eyes...appearently the girl that she once was is now different. Her clothing was pretty close to that of a seductress.. no shoulder sleaves but it was cut into arm sleaves and her shirt was low cut so that the top of her breasts could be seen, but did not show her breasts to the point where she be known as indeciant was cut down to a short dress. SHe just kneals and speaks to her self saying..."How long has it been" She asked questioning her self.

I walked to this area not knowing at first that anyone was here. I looked up to the clear blue skies, and soon after saw the birds fly overhead. The fish splashed in a nearby stream. I sighed just thinking to myself for a moment, as the sun shone and hit a gleam on my sword. I did not realize I was giving off a certain light to me. The slight breeze drew through having my hair flow along with it. Its pink rays were enough to make me stand out and give color to this very bland but somewhat beautiful scene.

Then I heard some music going on in the nearby area. As I heard it, I walked toward it only to find two females. One of which I met already, Mero. And the other did look familiar. From the angle I was standing I couldn't recognize her face. I walked over politely with a smile adorning my face and greeted them happily.

"Hello there."

I blinked a couple of times and then all of a sudden I found myself upon the floor. There was a weight atop me and I wondered who it was. Then the excited voice spoke. It was:

"Yumi? Oh hello, how have you been? It's been a while hasn't it? Hehehe. ^^''I laughed nervously remaining on the ground with this cute little girl atop me. I smiled and looked back up at her as she did, down at me. Such a long time passed, I barely was able to recognize her. Then I spoke again:

"Sama? Please, Yumi-chan, there isn't a need for formalities. You know me all too well by now."

I nodded and then got up as she did. I smiled once more and couldn't help but chuckle at her hyperactive attitude. It was still as cute as I remember. We weren't together anymore, but we sure as hell were good friends. And with that came my protection. I then cleared my throat, wanting to speak.

"Well, how have you been Yumi-chan?" ^^''

"not much...just after the city got destroyed my parents were killed so now im an orphan..." sighs then giggles dancing around trying to turn the mood around "lalala"

I blinked at the change of mood quickly. But had I heard her right? Her parents were destroyed in an attack on Hiroshima? That is absurd! Who in their right minds would attack such a peaceful city? I wondered and promised that I would take vengance. Perhaps a new organization? But who and what for?

"I see. Well I'm used to not having parents. Do not worry. I make it on my own, so can you. But you won't have to. I'll be here to protect you, Yumi. Do not worry."

"Again, it is no problem. I'll be more than happy to do that for you. Hm, what are you singing? It sounds nice."I nodded and smiled. Continuing to listen to her sing, I would remember the days I used to sing to her, and how we could always harmonize if we wanted to. Our friendship has grown quite a lot.

To make my promise true, I walked over to Yumi and gently wrapped my arms around her. I kissed her cheek lightly once to make sure she was alright. I wanted her to know that I was real and I am still here, will always be. I wanted her to know that I would keep my promise till the ends of time. As my arms encirlced her waist and brought her close to me in a hug, I thought to myself:

'I'll protect you... Yumi.~'

I smiled softly and held her close. I felt her cheeks heat up slightly, and that only caused me to hold her slightly tighter. If the hug had words, it would say "I want to protect you. I'll hold you close if that is all you want. I'll hold you close and never let go. That is if what you wish...then that it is so I shall do."

I nodded and brought her back into the embrace, smiling softly. Her stutter told me she was uneasy about the world but enjoying the security she had for once. The closure she was able to pursue now. I only held her. I did as she wished. I would only hold her till she wished to be freed, and then would I let her be. But my even though my arms have not the contact of the past they once did, my eyes will still have the watching effect of her. They will still be able to protect her from danger. Never will she ever leave my sight in the event of danger. Never.

"I proimise. Never.I still held her in my arms wondering how safe she felt. From the sound of her voice, it told me she was very comfortable. Very secure. And of course she would always be safe with me.

I smiled and nodded. When I felt her head upon my shoulder, I blushed only a tiny bit. I still held her in that moment. The wind breeze blew it and so our hair did mingle in the wind a little. A mix of pink and blue.
