A soft sigh escaped his lips as he stared out of the massive paned windows of the first conference room in the Kouseitan'i Corporation Building. He watched the people of Kyoto carry on their lives, no longer remember the horrible fate that had befallen the city during the war, even though the massive gaping scar in the earth still remained. Millions had died in the war, The Great War, The War that Surpassed Time and Space. The war that he had lost the will to protect humanity in. It seemed unlikely that he would ever return to being the hero of humanity, but that was left up to the boy he had left in charge of restoring peace to the world, 'If he fails...I'll kill them all...' he thought with finality as he turned and walked out the door of the conference room.
