Head
Emmanuel's head has a very natural oval shape, with a more defined chin, brow and intense gaze. His gray eyes seem to be endless, causing many a female, and male to get lost in his eyes. He has long spiky gray hair that he keeps tied up into a pony tail that goes as far as his lower back. He has two runes on his face, both on his cheeks. He also has a long scar running over his left eye that doesn't seem to affect his eye sight. He wears two massive earrings that have two runes imprinted in their cool surfaces.

Upper Body
Emmanuel's upper body is covered in runes, right down from his shoulder to his chest and all across his back. He has two major runes however on his body, on his chest he as a rune in the shape of a phoenix's face body and claws. The rune continues along the sides of his body before ending in two massive wings on his back that drape down to the small of his back. This rune was implanted on his body at the age of five when he accepted the role of the guardian. It is known as the Charius Special Rune #3: The Spirit of the Guardian. It gives the user the strength and power of the guardian phoenix with several ways to unlock it. Only guardians have this rune on their body. His chest, shoulders, and back are heavily corded but slim, showing that he does not believe in overdoing his muscle but still has the strength to take on his enemies.
