Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
First topic message reminder :
Catch up: Okay so basically, all that's happened is that Utena and Anthy have had a kid named Hana Tenjou, they're also married and about the age of 30 something. Hana is a mix of both of her parents. Her eyes are a turquoise color. Her hair is an off shade of pink with small marks of purple at the ends of it, like highlights. She looks to be thin and tan. She dresses and acts more like Utena, a tomboy, but still has her girlish moments. She's got a real talent for dancing. She's met this other girl whom attends her school name Kaori Shinohara, and as they've found out just now, she happens to be Wakaba's daughter. They've also met a mysterious young girl whom seems rather introverted, shy and defenseless named Aiko, tending to the roses with the most haunting violet eyes. They've encountered a third year whom seems to know Aiko somehow and has clashed personalities, momentarily, with Hana. Hana's also obtained a ring on her way to school, and on her way back after winning a dance battle, she's met a man named Touga. And now she, Kaori, her mother and Hana's parents are sitting down to dinner to discuss things. And then the night ended after a lot of fun....
It was now a new day, the next day at school. Hana made it on time and she was doing well throughout her day classes, she reached lunchtime and ate peacefully with Kaori at a table that only the two of them sat at. During the rest of her classes, she performed well and then school was let out. Hana began to busily pack up her books and try to shove them in her bag as quick as possible. It wasn't quite clear where she was going at the moment, but all she knew was that she needed to hurry up. Perhaps there was another dance battle she could attend? Or maybe that girl was still around somewhere? Anyway, Kaori was sitting at the desk next to her, packing her things like a normal student, whilst Hana continued to rush, dropping some papers and books all over the place.

"That same person who called me the first time. I didn't know who it was at first, but I have a lock on his identity now."
I smiled and continued with breakfast.
"I figured out it was Touga."

"Touga? that was him?" I was suprised that he was the one calling but that didn't stop me from asking another thing. "I don't understand Utena, why would he be the one calling you? Is he trying to leave a warning?"

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
OOC: lol. You used the wrong color, but that's alright. I still know what you meant.
"Yes he wanted to leave a warning. You see, he told me he wanted to warn me about something. He didn't get a chance to say it at the park, and so we left on equal terms then. But he called me when you went upstairs and warned me all the same. I figured it out that he was the same person who had talked to me the first time and we had a good conversation after that. But he warned me that things in the future might get stressful for you and I, and especially for Hana. He says that things may change drastically, so expect the unexpected. Or that's the basic of what I got from it."
I shrugged.
"There's really not much else to say. But don't worry. There's no use in worrying about something in the future, besides, he says that even he doesn't know what's coming for sure yet in the future. So the indefinite time span of not knowing when or how or where it's going to happen, isn't something to become delirious over."
I sighed and drank the rest of my drink. It was true. I just hoped that the worse case scenario didn't happen.
Meanwhile..
"I wonder if there will be anymore challengers.."
I spoke to myself lowly as I walked with Kaori and Aiko to class. I was smiling, happy, but tired. I was beginning to think that there were no more challengers. It'd been a while since anyone had approached me since Ryuu. I smiled, did that mean I'd done it? I'd won?
"Why hello there Miss Tenjou..."
I sighed. And just when I thought it was over.
"And just when I thought I'd never see you again, here you are. What do you want with me, Takehiko?"
"Your friendship. Or your courtship, perhaps, if you're into me."
"You're disgusting. What ever would make you think I'd go out with a guy like you? I want someone who will love me for me, not look at me like I'm a piece of "new cut meat". Buzz off."
I tried to keep walking but he stopped me in my tracks, appearing right in front of me.
"Come on. Don't ignore me like that. You can't ignore an offer to speak in conversation when the president of the student council approaches you. Can you?"
"I can and I will. Now if you'll excuse me, I'd like to be on my way to my classes now. I do have to attend them. And for the record, I don't care if you're student council president or the lord of the land we all walk upon, I wouldn't want to talk with you if you were the last guy here."
It's true, I let my anger get the best of me right there, and truthfully, I did regret it. I never meant to say such angry words to him and hurt his feelings as I did. I didn't mean to make this into a whole scene, and when I'd realized what I'd done, I retracted back for a moment and then continued on my way, as he had moved and allowed me on my way.
"I-I'm sorry about that.. I just... you know, what? I-I'm gonna go now. Maybe we'll talk later."
He stood there; Still and a little shocked at what had just come out of my mouth. What if the idiot was really trying to get to know me better? Was that just his way of speaking and I totally and completely shut him down? I sighed. That was wrong of me. To talk to him like that.
"That was... wrong. I need to make it right. The dummy... I hurt him didn't I?"
I sighed and continued on my way. Way to go Hana...

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
Aiko said nothing seeing the whole thing but she grea in a bit of worry now, Hopeing to really say her feelings one day to hana before something made her really sad. HOlding her school bag in her hands, she just kept following hana and hopes she and the other one will feel better soon.
~with me and Utena~
I looked nervous from what she told me. EVen if I still trust what she said, something about the warnings made me feel...scared. "If you say so Utena but...I'm really scared here to what you mean of the warnings. What if someone tries to..hurt everyone? What if someone kidnapped the girls? what if.....what if it's my...brother?" My hands fisted up a bit but looked quiet. I still rememeber the things he did to me and they were still like nightmares in my dreams.

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
A little while later with Hana....
"Hey Takehiko, got a sec?"
I approached him in the rose garden. It's amazing, he still used this place to serve as his "make out" place totally besides the fact that it was a rose garden and being tended to by Aiko. Did this man have no boundaries? But, he didn't seem to have a girl with him this time. He seemed to just be standing there, admiring the beautiful plants. I blinked and then he turned around elegantly and smirked. But then quickly, it changed to a smile.
"Ah, Hana. It's so nice to see you. You know the roses really compliment your hair." He smiled and went to touch a strand of it, brushing it out of my face and behind my ear. His gentle touches, was I to stop him from doing something innocent like that? I blinked. This guy really liked intimacy didn't he? "Yes I do have time to talk, what's on your mind?" He asked suavely. Even when we were just trying to talk casually it appeared he was trying to hit on me. What's with this guy?
"Okay well about earlier..."
"You really hurt my feelings you know?" He faked a look of hurt. I didn't actually hurt him and here I was trying to be the good guy and apologize. Well, I couldn't blame him. He was a boy. And even if he is student council president and supposed to be mature, deep down he just isn't. I don't think any boy I've met here is. Besides that one one wonderful one that gave me the ring on my finger. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have been sucked up in all this and had the chance to defend Aiko and her right to be an individual.
"Well, you don't have to be immature about it. Anyway, I wanted to say I was sorry. If I hurt your feelings, or even if I didn't, I'm still sorry I said those things. I shouldn't have caused a scene and embarrassed you in front of your thousands of fans. I shouldn't have done all of that. It was out of character and I'm sorry." I apologized anyway and ignored all of his flirtatious expressions and gestures.
"Hana.. I've had girls say worse things to my face than that during breakups and you expect your rejection to sting at all? I won't lie to you, seeing that you were a hard surface to crack did put me off a little bit, but aside from that, I was intrigued and saw it as a challenge. Some girls wouldn't even look twice here at me, but you, you came all the way here just to apologize. That is something special in my eyes, don't you think? Can't you feel something between us...?"
Was this guy losing his mind?
"To be honest with you, no I don't feel anything between us." I spoke outright.
"Well at least you were honest with me." A pause. "You're a puzzle, a challenge to me. And I intend to figure it out somehow. And I will say this now for the future; I do wish to be your boyfriend, I feel we'd make a great couple together. But, should your heart wish to not be entangled with mine, well then, I hope at least that we can be better friends."
He was sincere. I blushed and turned away from view of his eyes, so he couldn't see me. I crossed my arms and closed my eyes. To anyone else, it would look like I was pouting.
"If you want to be my friend, then I have no objection to that."
He smiled.
"Glad to hear it. So if you ever find the need to talk to me again, just follow your heart, it should lead you to me." He joked and then regained his seriousness. "But I'm usually here or lurking around the school." And as he left ahead of me, out the door to the rose garden, I saw a glimmer of sun reflect a piece of jewelry on his hand, and when the light cleared from my eyes, I saw it; The Rose Crest.
Meanwhile with Utena and Anthy...
A while had passed from our talk of phone calls and the impending future that was upon us. It wouldn't have done me any good to worry about it, nor Anthy either. I decided there was officially nothing to do and turned on the TV to see what was on. There was absolutely nothing on TV. I switched it off. I sighed in the utmost boredom.
"You know, when your kid goes to school all day, it kind of sucks being a parent. Because then you have nothing to do, until they come home. And with Hana, who knows when that will be? She has those duels doesn't she?"
I sighed, wanting an escape from my boredom.

"That is true but what could you do. Hana's growing up and being a parent shouldn't be so bad for you Utena. I mean, I thought I would never be a mother but look at me, I have wonderful daughter and lovley husband. Though, I'm sure you are happy too, even if anyone we know would be busy at times.." My hand was on her shoulder but I gave a kind smile in return to her.
~With Hana~
Aiko still said nothing listening to this but deep down she felt somewhat jealous? She knew she couldn't just scream I love you right now cuz it might freak hana out but what if she did then saw that hana was blushing just like she would. Aiko wanted her to notice her more, to always keep her safe, to love her like a lover would and yet, she was too nervous to say it, feeling it was not the right time.

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
"That is true, Anthy. I have a great life. An amazing wife and daughter alike. However did I get so lucky?"
I smiled and looked up at her, touching her hand with mine, which was on my shoulder.
"But don't you think that a little strange? I mean... why'd that curse ever happen in the first place? Could you imagine if it didn't? I ... I don't think we would have ended up here with Hana today."
I took a pause and then blushed as I asked her this somewhat, nervously.
"Though Anthy... you have to um, at least tell me this... Did you enjoy ... you know, 'it' more when I was a boy, or when I'm a girl?"
I looked down. I really wanted to know.
Meanwhile with Hana and Aiko...
"He has a ring on too, huh? That means that I'm going to have to duel him in the near future. He looks like he's good and I get this distinct feeling that he knows something that the other duelists didn't. I don't know, I think I'm just going to stay away from him, from now on, Aiko. He looks like a lot of trouble."
I sighed and then turned to her with a smile. She seemed to be deeply in thought about something. I wondered what. She was never was the type to be thinking about things so.... outwardly. She probably did have millions of thoughts inside that mysterious head of hers, but she would always look at me with those eyes full of gleams of emptiness. Nothingness. And how much it frustrated me that she would look at me that way. It made me feel... unwanted. Like I was nothing to her. At all. I wondered; 'Could that be true?'

Aiko didn't look quiet but looked to Hana with her eyes again, showing empthness once more in them but she couldn't tell Hana her true feelings; not yet, not now, at the right time. "Is something wrong, hana? You seem...pale a bit." she gently tilted her head to the said but deep down she grew worried.
~with me and utena~
My cheeks went pink a bit hearing this question while looking to Utena with my green eyes, showing some shyness a bit. "t-that? w-well........to be honest, I love you just being you so I liked you more as a girl.....It was nice to have a daughter but I wanted to love my husband as she is...if that's okay."

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
"I meant... the exchanges of love between us. Between our bodies. You liked it more when I was a girl?"
I blinked. This topic was getting quickly awkward, so I decided to try and change it a bit before it got carried away. It was at that precise moment that someone rang the doorbell. PERFECT timing. I sprung up to answer it and who should be there but...
"UTENA! MY LOVE! It's been years since I last saw you! You didn't think you could get away with just getting married and having a kid and leaving me in the dust did you? I mean, pay attention to your best friend, dear old Wakaba."
She giggled and hopped on me like she always did. I smiled and caught her, laughing a little. Even though she'd put on a few pounds, I'd gotten stronger and so I no longer struggled with the weight of another human being on my back. I laughed lightly.
"I would never forget about you, Wakaba."
Meanwhile with Hana and Anthy...
"No, everything's fine, Aiko. I'm just thinking."
I said and then smiled. But the smile wasn't all that sincere. Not that I was a lair with what I felt anyway, but I had to hide this discomforting feeling I got from her at all costs. It was strange. It unnerved me to my core, but yet, I managed to hold a composed look of carelessness around Aiko. What was happening?
"If...if you say so, Miss hana."Aiko looked to the ground again before looking up to her eyes again that still had nothing in them but Aiko did have a growing worry in her.
~with Utena~
I was going to answer her but sees her old friend Wakaba show up, smiling a bit to see an old friend again to Utena. "Seems alot of old friendly faces are showing up just to see you, hmm Utena?"

"If you're still worried about me, Aiko, don't worry. I'm fine."
I smiled and then began on my leave for my locker. I needed to gather some things as the school day was near to over.
Meanwhile with Anthy and Utena...
"Yeah it seems like.."
I smiled and held a very excited Wakaba on my back.
OOC: Think you could take over Wakaba for me?

bic:"OH come on! I know you missed me. You did, didn't you Utena? Huh? Huh? I know i missed you! My wonderful happy prince in the whole wide world!!!" I laughed a bit thinking it was cute but smiled a bit more.
"I think she always will but it's really special." Wakaba looked to me and smiled still giggling happy on Utena's back. "Yep! Even if she's married to you now, Anthy, that dosen't mean I will ever forget her! Not after all the cool fun we had when we were younger. Remember my prince!"

Aiko said nothing but just nods looking ahead while too nervous to speak.

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
I sighed and nodded.
"Yes, I do remember Wakaba."
I laughed nervously. ^^''
Meanwhile with Hana .... And Aiko somewhat...
I went to my locker to gather some things into my bag and found a note addressed in the weirdest way.
"To the engaged..."
I read out loud as I took it down and read it to myself, getting a grip for the words and what they really meant.
"I've been watching you during the duels here the academy, and you are a splendid fighter. I compliment you on making it this far. You seem to have incredible skills. I would like to test those skills. The arena will be closed for today, no challenges are to take place. But as soon as it reopens again, which will be Friday, I intend to challenge you. Signed, Duelist."
I read it and blinked. Well that was certainly strange. What the heck was this supposed to mean? Who would take the time out of their day to write me something like this? And it had to be someone who knew about the dueling game. I placed it in my bag and disregarded it for now, seeing as how it wasn't going to happen yet. It was only Wednesday after all. I sighed and then went back to the rose garden to go get Aiko, to start on my way home.

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
Aiko was just done watering the roses for the day but she was looking down at her shoes, thinking about what was going on. Her mind kept telling her to tell her true feelings but she couldn't. Aiko's a rose bride, nothing more than a tool to the dulest that tries to claim her but hana was so nice and kind to her, she didn't know how to express her feelings. All she can hope for is to wait at the perfect time to say it. "Miss hana...how can I ever tell you how much I care about you?...it wouldn't matter anyway, I'm just a rose bride, nothing more...."
~with Utena~
Wakaba smiled hugging Utena more tightly before giggling. "Yay! I knew you wouldn't forget like you always never do. You are soooooooo cute my prince!!!" she kept laughing but I just smiled to this.

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
I was on my way back to get her, seeing her standing there solemnly. I curiously tilted my head and watched her actions. They didn't seem at all to lack emotion anymore. They seemed to belong to a fully formed person, one with a heart, a mind, and the ability to feel. So, had she really been this way all along and I just hadn't known? Or perhaps this was just one of her more vulnerable moments where she was experiencing the real stress of being the rose bride. Oh how I wished I knew what it really was that made her tick. Regardless, I knew I couldn't stand here all day and watch her gentle notions and movements with her body. I'd have to get to come with me, and we'd have to go home, obviously we couldn't stay here. And so I reached for the doorknob, turning it in my hands and entering in the space of the rose garden. Usually, this place had a very uplifting atmosphere. It was joyful. And now it held an eerie air to it. Like there was this pressure of expectancy, and a whole breeze blew by of woe.
"Come on Aiko, we have to start on our way home."
I spoke gently to her. She remained in place for a moment more, before gently nodding to me and picking up her stuff to go. She was just so.... different.
Meanwhile with Utena and Anthy....
I smiled awkwardly.
"Yeah, but you know, to some this could be considered sexual harassment."
I chuckled.

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
"I see. I see. Well, maybe you should get off me now? I mean I'm not getting any younger here. So, why is it you're visiting me today Wakaba? Something you wanna talk about?"
I looked to her curiously. Truthfully, Wakaba wouldn't show up at my doorstep out of the clear blue, she always had an underlying reason. And that underlying reason I was going to find out.
OOC: Just make up something that goes along with the plot.
Meanwhile with Aiko and Hana...
"Hey Aiko."
I finally said after a while of silence and thought.
"That guy that you saw me run into in the rose garden today, and even before that, named Takehiko, he's a duelist right? I could have sworn I saw a rose crest on his finger and that means I'll have to fight him soon since I haven't beaten him yet. Well that's sure to be interesting. Isn't he like a very skilled swordsman, rumored to have beaten the kendo team captain at his own game several times in a row?"
I walked and continued to stare down at the ring on my finger, pondering about it, its rules and definitely the people who wore it. Just what did it mean?

"So you have seen our hana?"
"yep! And it seems she's doing the same thing Utena was doing when going to school; duling and stuff."

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
"Wakaba, how'd you... oh right, that whole Black Rose thing. You eventually recalled your memories of that day when Akio dissolved in existence and your memories were released. Hence you remembered how you dueled me and for what reasons and that I had to save you, otherwise you might meet a similar fate to Mikage. Anyways, I'm glad that you've been doing so well, Kaori, I've heard about. Seems Hana and she are best friends."
I smiled and rubbed the back of my head, like I usually did in these circumstances.
"So I guess you're wondering how we... Anthy and I... made Hana right? I mean, being that we're both women."
I chuckled awkwardly.
Meanwhile with Hana and Aiko...
"He may be the next one in the sequence, you're right. But, even so, he's just another duel right? So... why am I stressing out over this?"
I said, placing my hand on my forehead lightly. I needed to just calm down and relax. I didn't know what it was about him that made me so anxious and excited all the time, but it was like there was the air about him that made me feel this way. It made me all, uncomfortable. That's when I decided that even if I did do some digging and ask him about himself, he'd either lie or avoid the subject altogether, so he's harboring some sort of great secret and I can sense it. Does that mean I'll lose?

"No, it just means you have to stay calm and not freak out. doing that might cause you to lose but I don't know of the results till its happened." Aiko said gently to hana but kept walking.

I blinked listening before Wakasa looked at Utena then to me. "Good question. how did you two get hana? *gasps then looked to me* Did you put a spell on my prince!?"
"Wait..what? O.o Oh, No I-"
"How did you do it!? I was always happy with her being a female, makes her more cool! Though, doing that is suprising." I had a anime sweatdrop near my head but laughed nervous.
"So did you do it!?"
"But I didn't do a thing..Honest! O.O"

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
"Calm down Wakaba."
I chuckled and took her under my arm, draping it over her shoulders to explain.
"Okay, so somehow, there was a curse put upon me. That curse turned me male whenever I touched cold water, and for the longest we had a problem with our water pipes back in the dorm, and all we had was cold water. We didn't know what the cure was. And it seemed like I was going to be a man forever."
I started to blush and cleared my throat, trying to explain as levelly as I could. But my memories were beginning to show their colors on my face.
"Well, during that time... we .. made love.. and Anthy turned out to be pregnant. Shortly after that, the water pipes were fixed and we had warm water again. So after a hard day's work, I went into the shower and decided to get all clean again. Little did I know, when I came out, I was female again. It seemed the cure was hot water. And eventually after that the curse faded so I remained female. Then we raised Hana and we're at present day."
I chuckled awkwardly, hoping she would understand.
Meanwhile with Hana and Aiko....
"Yeah you're right. I should just stop thinking about it all together. It was never my style to think about what I was doing in situations anyway. But I can't help it, he makes my mind race. Like there's something he's concealing and it's eating away at me. It's like he's doing it on purpose. Anyway, there's a note that says the dueling arena will be reopened on Friday, for some reason it was closed today. And on that day the challenger will be waiting there for a match. So tomorrow, we're gonna see who this challenger is after school."
I smiled and continued to walk.

Wakasa looked suprised but then to me that was blushing a bit pink from that memory. "So..that's how it happened?"
"Yes..that's how it happened. But, why are y-" I covered my ears when she let out a loud squeal of happiness before hugging me really painfully. "That's so cute! Did Utena take care of you? did she feed you? did she massage your feet when you were sore to walk cuz of the baby!?"

I paused and smiled, then took her hand in mind as we walked side by side.
"With a friend with support as great as yours, I'm sure to win. I just have to relax. So thanks, Aiko."
And from there, I was silent, just listening to my music and walking, my hand in Aiko's. A perfect fit.
