Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
First topic message reminder :
Catch up: Okay so basically, all that's happened is that Utena and Anthy have had a kid named Hana Tenjou, they're also married and about the age of 30 something. Hana is a mix of both of her parents. Her eyes are a turquoise color. Her hair is an off shade of pink with small marks of purple at the ends of it, like highlights. She looks to be thin and tan. She dresses and acts more like Utena, a tomboy, but still has her girlish moments. She's got a real talent for dancing. She's met this other girl whom attends her school name Kaori Shinohara, and as they've found out just now, she happens to be Wakaba's daughter. They've also met a mysterious young girl whom seems rather introverted, shy and defenseless named Aiko, tending to the roses with the most haunting violet eyes. They've encountered a third year whom seems to know Aiko somehow and has clashed personalities, momentarily, with Hana. Hana's also obtained a ring on her way to school, and on her way back after winning a dance battle, she's met a man named Touga. And now she, Kaori, her mother and Hana's parents are sitting down to dinner to discuss things. And then the night ended after a lot of fun....
It was now a new day, the next day at school. Hana made it on time and she was doing well throughout her day classes, she reached lunchtime and ate peacefully with Kaori at a table that only the two of them sat at. During the rest of her classes, she performed well and then school was let out. Hana began to busily pack up her books and try to shove them in her bag as quick as possible. It wasn't quite clear where she was going at the moment, but all she knew was that she needed to hurry up. Perhaps there was another dance battle she could attend? Or maybe that girl was still around somewhere? Anyway, Kaori was sitting at the desk next to her, packing her things like a normal student, whilst Hana continued to rush, dropping some papers and books all over the place.

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
OOC: Time skip.
It was now Friday, the walking home with Aiko had gone smoothly. And I assumed the meeting with Wakaba for my dad and mom went well as well. It was already lunchtime at Ohtori Academy, and somehow I was nervous. All of these jittering sensations, some small convulsions and shivers. My nerves were really getting to me. I felt so flighty I could throw up. And my appetite, it seemed, had completely disappeared.
"Gee, this shouldn't matter. But it does. It makes me nervous for some reason and I don't even know who is challenging me. It's okay... it's okay, just calm down and head there after school. I'm sure it's someone easy to beat. Yeah.. that it's it."
I smiled nervously and tried to calm myself down by rationalizing. But it wasn't working. I was still as jittery as ever. Why was this affecting me so much? I guess I'd find out.
Several hours later... After school...
And there I was, heading up to the arena on this windy day. I gulped and put on my best brave face I could, walking with fake confidence. I knew I had to be true to myself all the time, but if I did that, I'd be a nervous wreck. And so I continued to climb the stairs, getting the appropriate attire on and meeting Aiko in the actual space we were dueling. And when I got up there, my eyes widened with a little shock and my hands slightly shook, with nervousness.
"Takehiko?"
Was all I could say.

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
"You're playing as coy as ever I see, Aiko. It's nice to see you again, rose bride. And you too as well Hana."
I could barely manage to say anything, all I could do was stammer and panic. And that's what I was doing mentally a bit, but I didn't know why. But, somehow, in all of this chaos going on in my mind, I did find some relief it was JUST Takehiko.
"You're my challenger? But... but..."
"Surprised are you? I'm not. I mean I do wear one of these." He flashed his rose crest at me with a gallant smirk. He was so.... flamboyant. "That meant we were going to have to duel one way or another at some point, didn't it? So, what do you say? Let's skip all the small talk and get right to the battling, shall we?" He remarked smugly. And then there was that familiar spark, that little anger that always filled me around him.
"You need to learn to shut your mouth at times."
"Now, now, victor. Is that any way to be speaking to the president of the student council?"
"Look, you're right. You came here to duel right? Not small talk with me. So let's cut the chit chat and get right down to business."
"Oh I think I sort of like it when you're this kind of angry. Right down to business, direct and strong. Ooh yes, baby, you've lit the fire in my heart~."
I smirked now and played his game.
"Well it's what you wanted, right?"
And there was a wind that blew by us. This scene was sort of dramatic. And yet, the duel was about to begin, just as soon as Aiko prepared us with roses and me the sword. I had to win this, I just had to.

Aiko was just picking Hana and Takehiko's roses, truning to walk to him and puts his color rose into his breast pocket before truning from him and gently puts hana's color rose in her breast pocket. She kept quiet before slowly touching her chest, now getting the sword of dios out for hana.

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
I watched her take out the sword. I grabbed it and raised it in the air, one gleam reflecting off its blade and I cried...
"Grant me the power to bring the world revolution!"
The bells rang, signifying the start of the duel. And with that he smirked and looked at me like he knew what I was going to do. And with that I charged into battle. Right away he was able to block my sword so effortlessly, and I was sure I put a lot of strength, a lot of force into that swing. And yet, he was able to block it and then parry it like it was nothing. I went in again and our swords clanked once more, he blocked it effortlessly, this time though we were at a stalemate. He was trying to overpower me and I was trying to overpower him. That's when he moved in close to me and smirked.
"Hm, not bad, for a girl."
He remarked and I was beginning to think his buddy Saito was rubbing off on him. What a jerk. Instead, I smiled and said...
"Thanks, you're not so bad yourself, president."
And we parted blades, I skidded back a bit as did he from the leftover power between our blades, propelling us backwards. He then rushed in with his blade and started to slash and cut every which way to try and swipe the rose from my chest and I was dodging and blocking them the best I could. He came close once and I did a hip hop move to avoid it. He smirked.
"You know, you're an incredible dancer. I've seen you."
"Thanks."
I said continuing to dodge as if this were a dance. And again he took things the wrong way, as usual.
"You know, if you keep dodging my slashes like dancing, I might think we're dancing together. This is wonderful."
He remarked and that threw me off my game. He went in and immediately put his sword down, grabbing my hand and pulling me into him. I looked up at him with a slight blush, obviously surprised and he looked down at me with a genuine smile. He was a real charmer wasn't he?
"You know I would never hurt someone as sweet as you, right Hana? You're far too kind and gentle, you're a lovely girl really. And I just want to be able to show you that. So why won't you let me? Must I really resort to having to duel you to prove my desires are true?" He kept slashing again and I, once more, was on the defensive. I couldn't get a hit in. "I just want to be able to show you what I can do, how I treat a true lady, someone of your caliber and stature. Why can't you see that?"
"Because... you're just not my type Takehiko. I don't know! I don't make up the rules here. But you should really stop talking and concentrate on the battle!"
"Why would I do that when I would love more to concentrate on that beauty you just resonate?" What?! I thought. And that again threw me off, he was charging in for another strike. I had to get my balance back and charge at him too, defend myself. I did the same, charging back at him in attempts to cut his rose. And then he whispered it again to me, that same haunting thing he said to me when first we met....
"Didn't your prince... look something like me?'
And my eyes went wide, my sword shifted in the process and as we passed each other and stopped running, the bells rang, signifying the end of the duel. The winds blew by to blow the loose rose petals in the wind elsewhere, and this time, the winner revealed to be...
Takehiko's rose was still in full tact and mine was tattered, only the core stem remained of it, and the petals blew by in the wind. I stood, almost lifelessly, my eyes wide. I didn't know what to think.
"I... I... I lost?"
I asked out loud, not believing the sound of my own voice. What just happened?
OOC: Can you take over Takehiko for me? He acts just like Touga. ^^

ooc:sure. :3
bic:Takehiko smirked as he had his gaze on Hana's shocked face from losing the first duel she's done so far while holding his blade in his hand. "My, oh my, this is the first. The prince has lost her first duel but I don't blame you. I think seeing you in some other way really shows more of you, hana. Though, cuz I won...Aiko is now with me." He looked over to Aiko gently but he saw her eyes widen in shock to see hana acutally lose to him. "M-miss hana..."
She goes over to hana to look at her or tries to look into her eyes but saw she didn't even notice she was their before Takehiko puts his sword away then looked to Hana and aiko. "Oh, and don't worry, I'll be sure to do well for aiko......so don't worry hana. lets go Aiko.." he turns to leave but waited as Aiko looked to hana still.
"Miss? Please say something?"

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
"Aiko... I ..."
I could only manage to say. The girl that had been with me through this entire journey was now stolen from me, just like that. This guy.... what had he done? Was he seriously just playing a game or was he really after Aiko and not me? I couldn't understand it, I didn't want to. The only thought on my mind at the time, was Aiko and how she was leaving and how I couldn't protect her. Aiko... the one good thing was being taken from me. And suddenly I fell to my knees, weak, I couldn't take standing anymore, and the sword of dios vanished, materialized out of my hands. The winds blew by.
"Aiko...."
I mumbled her name as she walked away with Takehiko and tears fell on the ground.
"No..."

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
As Aiko and Takehiko walked away from the area together, she didn't know what to do, looking down sad a bit from how this happened. Aiko couldn't believe hana lost to him and yet..it hurt her. She bit her lip not showing Takehiko as he walked in front of her but he just looked ahead. "Aiko? You should'nt worry. I'll be sure you are happy to be my rose bride..I'll be sure to that."" He gave a kind smile to aiko but she just only nods before looking down again.
'Miss hana......I..I already miss you.........

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
"Oh Aiko... forgive me... Aiko... I... I lost you..."
The tears continued to fall and I lingered there a bit more. During this fight, my boys' uniform had gotten tattered. It had rips and tears everywhere, it was in shabby shape. I had cuts and bruised and dirt and skid marks on my skin, the result of looking like I'd just come from a fight. My hair was all messy and my forehead now, had dried sweat on it as the winds blew by solemnly. I remained there, on my hands and knees, trying to suck up the pain that just wouldn't seem to fade.
After a little white, I took the remaining rose parts off my uniform and tossed it on the ground, working up the nerve to standing. My tears had dried. My eyes, emotionless and dead. My heart even had a slower pulse. I was hurt. And then, as night fell in, I walked home.
A few hours later...
I continued to walk home, very slowly. Step by step. Inch by inch. It was one of those nights where I didn't care whatever happened to me or around me, all I wanted to do was just go home and sleep. Perhaps sleep for the rest of all eternity. School let out always around 2:35. The after school activities usually didn't stay later than 5:00 the latest. And usually, when I had duels after school, I'd be home before 5:30. But, this time, I walked the streets, my stomach grumbling, my eyes dead, my body struggling just to keep pace, and it was much later than that. The street lights flickered and under them, I caught a glimpse of my watch. The time read...
"10:30 pm."
I said out loud, sighing. I really didn't give a damn right now. I was still on my way home, in the darkness of this night. I felt like I could relate, there was darkness inside of me right now. An empty, empty void of darkness.
OOC: I have nothing for Utena to say yet. But, they should be worried lol. Hana hasn't come home yet and school let out about 8 hours ago. :p

ooc:Okay. :3
bic:it's been over 8 hours since school was out but it was way past the time she and aiko was going to be home. I was pacing back and forth in the living room and seeing utena sitting their waiting as well in worry. She did tell me to calm down over the last few minutes but I couldn't. My green eyes were in deep worry for our daughter and Aiko, I just couldn't stop till I know they were home safe. "Utena, I'm getting scared for the girls. They should have been home hours ago and it's already dark out and...and..*eyes tearing up* Oh, where is my baby?" I was staring to cry a bit but that would just make Utena worry about me more to think I might go out and find them. "maybe we should go and look for them. They have to be somewhere..what if they are hurt!?"

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
"I wouldn't worry about it much, Anthy. I mean she does have Dios's protection, doesn't she? She'll be fine. And Aiko too. Maybe they just had a late night at school or something and she forgot to call, it could be nothing."
And then I saw her eyes. Those eyes had never been filled with so much worry before. She was starting to worry herself so much, tears were forming and when I caught sight of that, my eyes widened. My heart softened. I shouldn't have said that, right? I walked over to her and sighed, a little worried myself. Now for Anthy too.
"But, if it makes you feel any better. I'll go out and look for them, if you want me to. I'd rather have you stay here in case she comes home and I miss her. But if it'll bring you comfort, then I'll go."
I smiled and placed my hands on her shoulder gently. I kissed her forehead.
"Everything's going to be fine."

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
I just sniffled with my green eyes closed still sad and worried for the girls but looked to Utena, bitting my lip. "A-alright but I really want you to be careful too, Utena. I can't let anything happen to you too."

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
"I promise you, nothing will happen to me."
I looked at her. She seemed unsure still, and that is when I sighed and caved.
"Fine, you can come along too. I can see you're so clearly upset and distressed that you might as well. I think it'll make you feel better. But make sure you stay close to me and keep on guard."
I got a weapon from the coatrack that was there for emergencies, just in case and headed out the door.
Meanwhile with Hana...
The darkness seemed to be enshrouding me as I walked along the path home. And to my expectation, it started to rain. Lovely. Now I was upset and wet. I sighed and continued walking, not even caring right now. My hair that was style a certain way from the battle fell downward and became wet like I'd just taken a shower. There were raindrops dripping down my face, reminiscent of the tears I'd cried hours ago. And then my feet made little sloshing sounds through the small puddles of water gathering as I walked. They also splashed, making some appear on my leg and soon after my shoes and socks were soaked from the amount of water on the ground.
I checked my watch again. 10:50 pm. 20 minutes had gone by and I wasn't even home yet. This glacial pace seemed to be representative of my mood. I felt heavy and slow, even without the water. My heart... it felt like it was broken. But... why... why did I feel this way? Aiko was my good friend, so I suppose that's why. But, this kind of heartbreak I shouldn't be feeling over a friend, right? Is this normal?
"Ah screw it..." I mumbled out loud. "It's in the past now. Nothing I can do anyway..."
I sighed and continued walking. And then...
"Achoo."
I sneezed. Could I be catching a cold on top of all this too?

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
I sniffed but slowly nods, wiping my tears from my face and cheeks but follows Utena to head out and find our daughter and Aiko. Right now, I just hope they both were alright and out of the rain that happened.
~With Aiko~
She was just looking out from the room she was in but really worried for Hana, touching the cool window glass where the rain kept comming down on and everything else. She wanted to go out and find her, to check if hana was okay but knew He didn't want her out in the rain. All she did was sit down and look down sadder now.
~Back with anthy and utena~
"Hana!!! Aiko!! Girls, where are you!!"My voice was loud even through the rain calling out but I didn't want to stop till I knew they were alright but I looked to see Utena looking around for them too. "Ohhh, where are you two?"

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
I kept heading on my way home. Lifeless. My soul was dead. I could tell you in a million different words, a million different ways and yet it still wouldn't compare to what I was feeling at this very moment. I lugged my ways through the rain and grovel. I stepped with no caution whatsoever. My thoughts trailed to just giving up altogether. I sighed, checking my watch again.
11:00 pm.
And I kept walking.
Meanwhile with Anthy and Utena...
I left the calling out to Anthy to do. She seemed to be worried sick anyway. Just where was Hana anyway? I was beginning to wonder myself. And, then I saw it on the horizon. A figure approaching us. She seemed to be a little less than my height and dressed in some tattered clothes. Her silhouette was definitely that of a girl. Maybe not yet fully mature. My eyes widened. Was that Hana?

I kept calling out in the rain but really worried now feeling my throat sore from shouting. Before I could turn to Utena, I saw that she noticed something comming in our direction, a girl. "who?.......hana, is that you?"

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
I heard my name. I didn't respond. It sounded like my mother and the figure standing next to her, I recognized to be my father, taller, more muscular, but still a woman. I couldn't lie, I felt a small relief in me when I saw them, but the look in my eyes didn't change. I just kept walking towards them at the same pace as I was before.
I glanced at my watch once more. 11:10 pm. Time was passing quickly.
"Hana..."
I mumbled recognizing the form approaching us. Immediately I started to take down the weapon I had ready in my arms and waited for her to come near to us. But, why was there only her? No Aiko... where could she be?

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
"Hana, what happened?"
No answer. I tried a gentler tone and watched as her footsteps stopped and she stood right in front of us. She seemed to be emptily staring at the ground. She was soaked and the raindrops kept hitting the ground in a pit pat pattern. I only found it the least bit odd she could be so upset about something. And I was beginning to realize that the gaze she had in her eyes, was almost the same as Anthy's was when she was the rose bride. I couldn't comprehend it or where Aiko had went and why it was so late that she was walking home.
"Hana... answer me. What happened?"
I questioned a little more loudly, in case she didn't hear me. Thunder struck in th background loudly and a small bit of lightning too, illuminating her empty face. No response. Just what the heck had happened?

I couldn't believe it. Her normally turquoise eyes were now a bright green. They had the same stare Anthy's did. And I became frightened for a moment. Just what the-
And again no response, even as Anthy asked her kindly. What had happened to my little girl?

Re: Revolutionary Girl Utena: Generation 2 - The Rainbow Rose
And another attempt to communicate, failed. Hana did not answer, only emptily gazed ahead, her feet not moving anymore. She couldn't find the strength to move them and I was starting to get annoyed she wasn't answering. I was about to walk up to her and yell when suddenly...
She began to fall backwards. Fainting, falling back into darkness from fatigue, and she looked a little pale, she was probably sick too. I rushed over there and caught her in my arms, cuddling her in them. I checked her pulse just in case. She was fine, her heart was beating, just a little slow. I sighed in relief, and then remarked, quite sadly.
"It's okay... Daddy's got you."
