Kris's Emo Poem: My Life

My life, it's in shambles
always in pain every day
I wish it would end
I want it to go my way
I hurt my friends
and I really don't mean any of it at all
but when I look again
I'm not standing tall
I used to think I was so strong
Rise to meet any call
but soon I figured out
I was nothing at all
So this is for my people
who probably have it worse than me
I want you to know
that for everything I've said, I'm sorry.

I will forget everything
I will forget where I've been
I will bring it through anything
and you will all see what shit I'm really in

The demons have done their work
and here I am, holding my cup
of sorrow, with a smirk.
