OOC: wow you really have issues i didnt think that girl you fell for hit you that hard... do you really have hat much of a problem being a girl? nice twist. i have alot of assumptions about what some parts mean. but i have a question is it Mero's ID you Utena's?

BIC: i was not confused the "ID" ,as i understood it, was not as strong as utena but it clearly had some power over her but if i intervened Utena wouldnt be happy. i was curious about what the "ID" wanted to say about me but i didnt speak out becuase this wasnt my fight unless she wanted my help then i would gladly offer it. but until then i owed this "ID" for saving my pride. umm "prince" Utena... break a leg. i would have said good luck but that is a jinx. and my emphasis on prince was for the "ID's" information. after all a prince is about heart not gender and Utena has the heart of a prince.

OOC: I don't understand the last question but I am typing this, I made up the whole concept myself after I thought about it some, watched some things, remembered some topics and whatnot and put it together. I thought this would be a good idea to do. You realize that I'm not saying this all seriously or personally, none of this is coming as a personal attack from any emotion within my body. I'm just typing words to play the role of an evil Mero, per say. And, um, sometimes I do have a problem being a girl, but, not all the time. And, where does the girl I fell for have any relevance to this storyline? She doesn't. And I'm over her. I am not as weak as you may think I am. Oh and rereading it, I see what you're saying. You're calling it the darker part of someone's conscious, the id. Well, if you want to think about it that, this is Mero's id. Not mine. Notice how she was going to say something about you too but was cut off so she didn't get to it. The thing I'm trying to employ with Mero's anti is the fact of her disgust and dislike that things don't go her way or the natural way, sure there's some hatred in there but overall she's being selfish is she not? Well, both the real Mero and this Mero have that same quality. If Mero steals something because she fancies it, is that not stealing for personal gain or pleasure? You see, they connect. But, the key here is to have Mero accept the anti as a part of her and it will vanish, if she doesn't, it will just keep gaining power and attacking us. But, that won't hit Utena's mind for a while.

I nodded as Bryant's voice took note into my ears throughout the violent torrents of power the anti was now releasing. Or should I say shadow, it was much simpler. The shadow Mero cackled in an eerie tone, her voice exploring the octaves it had range over, high and low. I just stood my ground throughout the releasing of this immense darkness. She finished laughing and focused her bloodlust crimson eyes straight on me. Her red meeting my blue. Then, throughout the power's own silence, she commented.

"Oh well, isn't this a nice development? I sense fear in your eyes. I see it! I smell it! I can feel your body quivering before me. Excellent. Of course, when really faced with the truth the human mind naturally collapses leaving nothing but an empty shell that used to be filled with fight. Now what? Are you too frightened to make a move? You're in the wake of the truth, the dawn of reality Utena and I hope it hits you hard like a ton of bricks when I'm finished with you! You will know the true power of knowing this truth, this truth being that you cannot disrupt the forces of nature with whom you choose to be! If you are a woman, then, the forces of nature themselves will curve your path to that of a woman's fate! If you want to be a prince, you'd have to become male and even then the world will reject you! Go with the flow of nature, my nature, my way and you shall be safe from any internal destruction your heart decides to bring upon you!" She smirked and the power bursted out again in a release, the transformation now being totally complete. She was... something else. After the release there was a calming in its sways. I felt it emanating from her. She was very powerful. I had an edge but I sensed this was going to be close. It was then that she commented once more with a snide sense of humor.

"Come on you dyke! Bring it on! Show me what the lesbians of our delusional society can do. Let's see if you can really play the part of a prince!"

"And how would you like me to do that?"

"Simple. You destroy or defeat me in battle or I kill you and the whole entire city behind you. I will blast it to smithereens and leave no trace of its memory on the ground. So you'd better hope you live through this bitch!"

That was the starting point of the battle. I could tell she was eager to fight me. But, I smirked nonetheless, keeping my composure. After a moment of brief pause I spoke softly with an undertone in my voice that spoke of my seriousness.

"Such talk for a thief herself."

dont worry about the city i can take anything this thing can throw so dont hold back. i move to a place between the two and the city watching calmly knowing that utena has this fight in the bag. i hoped utena wouldnt let her frustration cloud her instincts for battle and that she takes my advice for not holding back.

'Gotcha. This thing seems to want to be battle me so I'll handle it. Don't you worry, I got this one. You sit back and enjoy, I'll figure out a way to beat it.'

I sent a telepathic message to his brain and smirked readying myself for her attacks and anything else she could throw at me. I dashed forward and she smirked then, pleased that I was the first to make a move.

"Haha! FOOL. You will die here!"

"Ha! I don't think so! Look behind you!"

I had gotten behind her, disappearing and reappearing in a flash fast enough to cut off one of the tentacles that snuck out from under the mounds and piles of garbage that she sat upon. Black blood spilled out of the tentacle to which I paid no mind. She cried out a bit in pain from the slash, after all it was a part of her form. She tried swinging her other tentacle at me and I dodged, flashing in front of her. She smirked...

"That's exactly what I wanted you to do!"

Her dark aura struck down from the sky, seeing her hand in an open position facing the gray sky. Darkness seemed to shoot down in lightning bolts and strike me consecutively and harshly. I was being shocked by darkness, in a way, it hurt more than just normal light. I cried out in pain, crimson blood spilling forward in small bursts from my arms being burnt and the same from my legs. She smirked and after about 15 she stopped. I panted and cringing, stood up tall, wielding my sword proudly. I wasn't going to give up this early.

"What a shame, done already?"

"Just getting started!"

And the battle continued.

i looked concered from the black blood knowing that is was a part of this formless creature and in my expirience some things can be controled with ease from the source. i was amazed at the control this Anti had not on iota of energy stray from its target i saw Utena's wounds and almost jumped in but i stopped knowing that she was still in this fight despite her immense fear of blood. Utena close your eyes and use your senses to feel out a weak spot and vital point. my advice was to find a way to win not hide from her fear.

'Bryant... I would do that but she's too fast. If I close my eyes and concentrate now she'll most certainly beat me and I don't wish for you to interfere. I know she seems like she's moving at normal speed but in actuality, it's 100 times faster. It's tricky to keep up with something like this. She's not a monster or a demon, she's not like anything I've ever seen before.... but, I'll find a way to beat her, I'll keep thinking throughout this whole battle... don't worry...'

"Oh alright, in that case.... die! hehehehehehehee!

It was then that the two tentacles that I didn't bother cutting off that were nearest to me, starting swinging at me quickly. The speed picked it and it seemed that I was going to tire of dodging them quickly, but, as I was dodging them, I realized that she swung them subconsciously in rhythm. There was a rhythm to her swings, all I had to do was time this right. I started to look tired of dodging these swinging tentacles and she cackled once more, continuing to swing them at me ferociously.

"What's the matter Utena? Tiring already? I didn't think you'd give in this easily! Oh well! DIE."

"I'm not giving in that easily!"

I got ready for the next attack.

channel your energy to your eyes magic and what ever and then channel more energy into your legs to increase your speed. i watched knowing she had a chance.

I nodded and closed my eyes, increasing my speed and trying to sense within the shadow a weakness I could exploit to defeat it, but I was sensing none so far.

'This shadow... doesn't have a weakness?! She has to have a weakness! Everything has at least one weakness. But, I just can't seem to sense it. Well, what does he expect me to do? Just keep guessing?!'

I had stopped communicating with him telepathically. I needed to seriously concentrate here. This battle was a hard one and it wasn't going to be easy to win. And if that was the case that I lost, I'd die, Bryant would die, and this whole city and its life would be destroyed. Everything would be dead and gone and I couldn't allow that to happen. I'd have to think of a way around this, but, how? For now all I could do was fight.

"Hahahahahaha! That's it! Keep dodging! You'll get tired eventually and then you shall succumb to me! You shall die along with the pitiful life that resides here in this shameful city! DIE DIE DIE!"

"I already told you, that's not gonna happen!"

"Very well then! Die by my hands!"

Her tentacles kept swinging ferociously at me without a break or a pause or much time to catch my breath. She was just so fast, I barely had time to react but with my eyes closed I was able to keep up with her movements and dodge them. I was able to sense where they were and when the time was right, I drew my sword quickly and cut off the tentacles at the different intervals when they were weakest or nearest to me. I smirked and retracted from the proximal spot I was standing in in relation to Shadow Mero. She screamed out in agonizing pain as black blood spilled out slowly onto the ground she was standing on. The tentacles soon started to materialize in a dark mist and now all that was left was the giant amount of stolen things she was sitting upon and her actual form she started with, plus fangs. I stared at her and her crimson bloodlust eyes stared back at me menacingly. She wanted me dead I could tell.

"You're one very annoying little pest aren't you? Well, you're better than I expected. But how could you have done that with your eyes closed?"

She seemed to be cringing while I had already opened my eyes again and smirked. I replied.

"And what makes you think I'm going to tell you that information? Just know it was rather simple."

She seemed to fume at my answer while I just laughed a bit, holding my sword closely to myself, waiting for the next portion of battle. I could tell Bryant was a bit proud of what I had accomplished. I was slowly developing a strategy, I hope he would see that.

i nodded knowing she finally took my advice and was a bit worried it seemed to be holding back but even at max it was still weaker than utena. so why was it holding back... OI UTENA KEEP YOUR EYES CLOSED THE LESS INFO YOUR BRAIN HAS TO PROCESS THE EASIER IT WILL BE TO SENSE HER MOVES!!! they had moved further away but i could clearly see them.

His voice boomed from behind me as I stood, eye to eye with the thing in front of me. Shadow Mero, huh? How did this come to be? Did Mero all of a sudden get so flustered that she lost control of her suppressed self? I didn't want to believe that this was a part of Mero, but, for now, I had to take her word for it. I cringed, damnit! This pain from when she hit me was really starting to get to me. But, Bryant was right, I needed to concentrate and think more clearly. But, it was then that I had an idea!

'Bryant! I need you to do something for me, I'll hold her off and continue to battle her so her focus is on me. But, she keeps saying how she wants to destroy the town and the life along with it, I'm not going to let that happen. She can't destroy the life in the town if there's no life there to begin with....'

I paused and held up my sword, getting ready for round 2 with the shadow. She was laughing maniacally as her power once again surged and I continued with my thought.

'Bryant, somehow, you need to escort all of the people or whatever is there from the town. You have to take them someplace else, someplace safe. And then there will only be buildings left to destroy if I do lose to this shadow. If that's the case they can just be rebuilt, but, you have to trust me on this one. I'll be fine, you need to start doing this now. I'll keep our telepathic connection up in case I come up with something else. But, good luck Bryant.'

I concentrated again on Shadow Mero, looking at me now with deep disgust. She laughed again before opening her stupid mouth.

"Hehehehehe, ready to die Utena? Bring it on! I'll make certain you'll lose!

"Is that so? Bring it on!"

i understand your plan but the people on this planet cant live anywhere but here. the air itself will kill them. but dont worry if it some how manages to get by you i will slay it before it gets past me.

despite my thoughts to her in her telepathic link i flew to the city and erected a barrier the like only gods can make. it was as if time in the barrier had stopped but something about the barrier suggested that instead it separated the city from time itself and nothing could penetrate it not even the full power of a star over the course of its entire life focused into a single point and fired at the barrier could make it even quiver. but it was painfully obvious that light could penetrate the barrier and so could darkness so i stood between them and the barrier completely exausted but still able to fight if the need was dire. i thumbed the hilt of my sword and the grip of a whip that she had never noticed before and was now in my hand.

OOC: called a time lock and it takes so much out of him he barely can fight against a human and win so he will be relying on his weapons if a fight comes.

OOC: Alright I'm callin' you out on that one. I'm sorry Bry, yes, it is possible, in real life, for a split moment, for us to have what seems like supernatural powers. These things are called adrenaline rushes. And yes, in the fantasy world, it is possible for a character to be REALLY powerful. But, the only being that is supposed to be above a supernaturally strong creature is a God. And hence, they set limitations for their power, a limit that they cannot pass, to keep them from coming into their territory. They are the almighty rulers, and to have you have that kind of power and not like pay for it right after enough with severe effects to your body, it's God mod. I'm sorry Bryant, but, I was an admin here when this site was bursting with life all over the place. I was taught to recognize unfairness and God Mod and to crush it wherever I spotted it. Now, either you have some severe effects happen to him from doing this or you take this back and you cannot do it, only put a temporary spell over the city. You probably shouldn't be able to control time and space either, that is the workings of a specialist in that type of magic or a God, for complete control. I'm sorry but that has to change. I'm gonna post anyway.

'Alright, well whatever the case may be, we need to figure out a way to deal with this thing if I lose. You won't have enough power. Right now I sense this thing is beneath me, but I can't pinpoint why I would even have a chance of losing...?'

I thought a moment more, to myself, this time. I didn't transmit the thought to Bryant. Our telepathic connection needed to keep up, it was a way to plot and scam without the shadow finding out about what we were planning to do, if anything. ...

"Hahaha! You shall fall by my hands! I need you to die. The world will be better when I get rid of fuckin' crazy ass dreamers like you. Prince, protect women, please, you can't even protect yourself. You couldn't even fight your way out of a paper bag!"

"Say what you will, Mero, but, I know it's not true. You just have to accept that fact. I think you're so disgusted with the way things go in nature that you cannot bear it. I think that in a way, way deep down, you're scared to admit to yourself that you feel insecure because you have no control over what happens to you when you want to have it or when you think you do. This frustrates and troubles you and now this is the only way to deal with it, take it out on someone whom has disrupted you in some way. But, that isn't true. The real Mero, would never say these things to me, however, to herself, that's a different story...."

"So, you think you've got it all figured out huh?! If that's the case, I'll just end you right where you stand. How dare you say that to me when you yourself cannot accept who you are. You are a menace to this society, the one thing defacing the value of life, therefore, you must be destroyed! Ahahahahahahaha! BRING IT ON UTENA."

"If that's the way you feel then, I have no choice but to fight you. Let's see what you can do then, Mero."

She began to attack me, calling forth her powers now, since her tentacles had been lain to waste. At first I was concerned with dodging her strikes and her attacks, but, I was analyzing and studying them all the same. It seemed to be a mixture of electricity and darkness, a dark lightning bolt, sounds like Mero. She did have a striking personality. ^^''

So she continued to summon her powers and throw these darkened lightning bolts at me, only taking pauses to laugh or charge up her power more. Sometimes she would flip straight off of the pile herself and try to hit me with a sword she obviously stole, it was at the top of her pile she was sitting on. I blocked those and dodged these lightning bolts. Now the question was: What is her weakness? There has to be something that electricity is weak against....

'Alright, so how can I defeat this thing once and for all? If I am correct in thinking this, I cannot defeat it all on my own because it isn't my shadow, it's Mero's. What I'm wondering is what she would be doing here, and why she would want to do battle against only me. It didn't make sense. I tried making sense of it with what I spoke, that has to be true. After all, these were probably Mero's secret thoughts she was keeping, which had a deeper meaning and knowing her she didn't want us finding out. Okay, now I'm getting somewhere, if only I could connect that something.... I know there's something I'm missing but what....?'

That last message was for only myself. Bryant couldn't hear me on that one. I was thinking deeply about all of this. There needed to be some sort of key to bring this shadow down and destroy her, but, what? All I could do for now was concentrate on the battle and do my best...

Damn this was going to be a hard battle. I could tell she wasn't weakening and I was already cringing in pain. I was beginning to wear and tire but I wasn't going to give up that easily. I wasn't going to lose. If possible, I wanted to save my healing affinities for later on when I truly needed them. Right now, it was a case of mind over matter, my body may be tired, but, my mind and spirit weren't. I was panting while she continued to laugh maniacally.

"Come on prince of all dykes! Show me what you "guys" can do! Unless that is you're too afraid to push your luck any further."[/color]

"No way! I'm gonna keep going.... if it kills me...

'I need to figure a way to...'

Physical attacks weren't getting me anywhere, I needed to concentrate on magic now. Electricity was weak against ground and darkness is weak to light. I have to find a way to make this happen somehow. Mero's shadow began to shoot lightning bolts at me engendered with darkness. Quickly thinking, I chanted inside my head, a spell, and rocks wrapped around me, forming a suit of armor made of stone. I left a slot open so that my eyes could see where I was. Lightning bolts kept striking my armor, but I felt nothing, just the small amount of impact. It was working. YES. Alright, now... I think I know a way to beat her....

'Oh, spirits of nature that surrounds me, heed my call. I call upon you, the sources of power that fuel the spirit, the mind and body of all living things. I command thee to bend to my will, reasonably. Lend me your power you possess and together we shall walk the path of justice and apprehension. Together let us vanquish evil! Allow me to destroy the being that stands before me, oh great sun shine your glow brighter than any star!'

"Lumenia."

I whispered as the sun began to shine brightly. I smirked, now there was one more piece to the puzzle. ..... Ha, of course!

still being drained i lashed stray darkness pockets with the whip and it seemed to absorb the darkness to increase its own power. but it absorbed mine like a price to pay for using it. i was grunting from the effort of raising my arm but i had to to keep the city from being damaged.

"Ouch the light! It fuckin' hurts! What do you think you're doing you little bitch?!

"Finding your weakness and destroying you."

"That's ridiculous, you can't defeat me! FUCKIN' ow! This shit burns!"

"I know. You kept throwing lightning bolts at me infused with darkness. The opposite of darkness is light and the only weakness I could think of to electricity was ground. It nullifies the blast and shock power of it. I have you beat in that department. Then I called upon the sun to burn you since you obviously are engendered with the power of darkness. So that's about it.

I smiled, coming out of my rock armor and crossing my arms, retrieving my sword from where I last dropped it and placing it in my sheath. While she was agonizing in pain, I sent a telepathic message to Bryant.

'Dude, we need Mero here. She's the only one who can get rid of this being once and for all. She needs to accept her as a part of herself.. I figure, this is her suppressed thoughts if she accepts that then we won't have to deal with her rampage of wanting to be free. We need Mero, she's the final piece to the puzzle!'

i cant teleport im too tired but i can hold that off for you to use your magic. i tightened my grip on the whip and sheathed my sword to focus all my attention on useing thew whip to trap the darkness and keep it busy,

'That isn't gonna work. It wants me, and it will only stay like this for as long as the spell is in check. It's my spell so you can't control it. It has to be you, I'm lending you a bit of my life force on the bond we established earlier. Take it and use it to find Mero and bring her here. The town will be just fine, trust me....'

I nodded and concentrated on keeping my body in checking, watching the shadow crumble a bit beneath the sun's light. I felt weaker but I had to keep going....

The shadow seemed to be spewing blood a bit onto the ground, the color black. I chose to not pay attention to that and more of what was happening on top of the huge pile of stolen things. Atop it, Mero still sat, and fuming from being burned by that sun. But, the sunlight spell had ended and she was letting off steam, quite literally. She had finished screaming and was not panting heavily, trying to hold her own composure. Her face, half looking like the real Mero's porcelain skin and eye color; and the other half with a darkness to it and glowing crimson eye. She peered at me with a deeper anger than ever before and then I heard a familiar voice behind me. MERO!

"You will die where you stand, "Prince" Utena!"

She tried powering up again and jumping down off the pile to swing at me ferociously with a sword she had with her on top of the pile. When the sword wasn't working, she took her two handguns, also in the pile, and began shooting at me. I was doing my best at dodging and deflecting the bullets with my metal sword, but, two got me; one in the right leg, one in the left leg. I fell down screaming in pain, my red blood leaking onto the ground. She smirked, panting still.

"Now I've got you!"

She pointed the gun at me, as I was holding my injured limbs. I was cringing as my blue eyes met hers with determination. I was unafraid, if I was going to die, I was going to die. I was tiring quite quickly, and then I sent a telepathic message to Mero...

'Mero.... you have to accept her as a part of you. That's the only way to defeat her, if you don't ,I have no doubt she'll feed off that power of denial and attack me again and if that's the case I'll die. I will die for you because I'm your friend, but, one thing I won't allow is her to destroy the vivacious city behind us! You have to accept her while she's weak otherwise, she'll shoot me. ... do it...'

After hearing her words, I sighed and walked over so I was standing in front of her, creating a shield. "Who are you and why do you look and sound like me?" I asked the shadow Mero. I was confused and I wasn't going to go accepting anyone as part as me until I had answers. But I wasn't going to sacrifice my friend to find the answers.

"Well now, look at this! She thinks she's brave, that's so cute it's almost hysterical. You want to know who I am.... I'd be glad to answer that for you..."

There was a small pause and I was panting, trying to remain composed and "in the scene" happening at the moment.

"I am a shadow, one's true self. I am your suppressed emotions and thoughts that you've been hiding for so long from Utena here and Bryant. I am the things you cannot admit outwardly and some you can't even admit to yourself. I am the things you don't want others to know. I am you, Mero Imaimashi. Unfortunately, there isn't room for two of us now is there? So I'm afraid you'll just have to let me take your place... isn't that right weakling?"

She smirked in that same devilish way. I could tell her powers were wearing thin. I took care of the brunt of her power and attacks, now, it was up to Mero to accept her as a part of her, otherwise, I wasn't sure I would survive this...
