A New Beginning

First topic message reminder :

I kept my head down attempting to hide it behind the collar of my coat which i had adjusted upwards. I glanced around and noted how many factories ran along this road. Over 5 factories and sadly this wasn't the industrial part of town.I inwardly scoffed at the thought and continued forward. I wiped a bit of ash off my face and glanced around trying to spot the smoke stack it had fallen from.

What a terrible city, crumbling under the governments idea of advancement. It was killing this city slowly and no one seemed to realize. I shook my head and stopped infront of an older looking house and knocked on the door, standing back waiting for an answer. After about a minute, the client I was meeting opened the door and let me inside.

Smiles as I walk out the building onto the gloomy street. "Man what a dreary day," I commented as the cloudy sky came into view. "So do we take the long way, killing some time? Or the short way?" I asked while turning to look at the pair behind me. I smiled as I did so.

"Well the king never did specify the time frame in which I needed this contract signed and completed and returned to him, so I say we take the long way. And, ya know there's no harm in having fun with your friends on the way."

I laughed and waved my finger a little bit, giving us all cold refreshments to drink and the clouds and the gloominess in the sky washed away and revealed the bright, golden sun. I smiled and took a sip of the cold refreshment continuing to walk with my friend Evaline in lead and Bryant in harmony with me.

He drank slowly watching the crowd and memorizing future marks for feeding. his eyes drifted up and down every person that walked by and sometimes he would look at his companions wondering if he could drink thier blood as well. though he was far from his limit of tolorence of the thirst he was always looking for a potential mark.

I looked over my shoulder at the two of them and smiled. It had been such a long time since I had seen them. I slowly dropped my pace and fell into step along side Utena. "So Utena, I bet it's been exciting since you've become a prince?" I looked at her then turned to Bryant. "And what has been happening with you? Fight anything powerful lately?" I wanted to know everything that had been happening in their lives. I continued to move forward with them, a big smile plastered on my face.

I couldn't help but smile, and blush a little as the color rose to my cheeks. I knew I was a prince and it was a dream come true to hear myself called that. But, sometimes I couldn't even get over the title myself.

"Well it's my dream, and I'm glad I've accomplished it. But, unfortunately, it entails a lot more work than I anticipated before. Although, I'm happy. I .. have a father again, and he's kind to me. He treats me like his son... mostly because.. he doesn't know I'm a girl. But, I'm planning to tell him.. real soon. He seems the kind and accepting man and so he'll accept me no matter my gender."

I smiled as we continued walking.

brandon tilts his head in confusion. how does he not know you're a girl? he adresses Utena thinking it was obvious that she was a girl. he didnt think that anyone could make a mistake like that from the way she smelled.

"I chose to not wear my hat in your presence. You both know I'm female, so, I have nothing to hide. But, him, he found me long ago, when I had very short hair from an endeavor I'd rather like to not talk about. And he thought I was a guy, but, we got along pretty well. Since I behave like one, he didn't seem to notice. I was rather young at the time and so for my voice he didn't suspect anything. But, now that I am older, he expects it to be deeper. Which I can change and imitate very well. But, I always wear a hat in his presence, because my hair is longer. If he saw what I look like with long hair, he'll know I'm a girl. It's the past basically that's made it the way it is now. And I can get away with most things, but, soon, I am planning to tell him. I need to, because I can't keep this secret a secret for much longer."[

I spoke, afterward taking a sip of my drink.

not to mention your chest will grow over time. he mumbles after hearing her words. he understood her position on hiding her identity but didnt get why anyone would care whether or not she was a girl, after all cross dressing goes both ways.

"It's quite possible that it might Bryant, but, I'm already 16 and if they haven't filled out to what they want to be by now, then I don't know what. That's a rough one Mero, he kinda just assumed, never really gave me the chance to talk to him and tell him, you know?"

I continued to walk with my friends down the path we were on.

Normally, I am good at controlling my emotions. But, that word hit the nerve with me.

"I am no princess! I'm a prince. I'll never be a princess. I may be a girl, I may be a tomboy, I may have my "father" deceived at the moment, but, a princess is the one thing I'll never be."

I was starting to get angry. Any more of this and my powers would begin to have a mind of their own.

My fists clenched a little tighter and I said, rather loudly.

"Just stop!"

Little did he and I know but, his nerves had become completely frozen over, stagnant, immobile, he couldn't move. And to think I said that by saying those 2 simple words. My powers sometimes cause such a ruckus.

now hold on i was just saying it i use princess as a term meaning a girl prince and that is what you are. im acknowledging you are a prince and a girl at the same time. he got a bit scared and used his tail to stand upright.

I caught the little glint of fear in his eyes and then I saw his upright position. Oh, so I see what's going on here. I began to catch on and suddenly my face had a small, light, smirk on it.

"Hey Bryant, why don't you try moving? Come bow down to the 'princess' if you will."

"Oh come on, but, you're a big strong man. I know you can walk two steps and then find the ground and bend your knees. It really isn't that hard. And you should be doing it in a lady's presence anyway."

It was my turn to mess with him. He was under my spell, literally. But, I had become quite powerful. Powerful especially enough to do this..

"Well I guess if you won't bow. I'll do it for you."

His nerves were still in lock but, my finger waggled a little moving each of his body parts slowly into position. Within the matter of 2 minutes, his body was bent to my will, in my desired position. He was bowing to me fully. I smiled softly.

"Much better."

I stopped the control of his nerves and they locked back into place, leaving him in that position, as still as a rock.

he keeps trying to move, his strength was only equal to the weak spell that was on him. but he could move only a tiny bit. but she noticed he was still holding back all of his power. i guess this means i can call you princess now?

I trailed behind Utena and Bryant watching there little spectical. An amused smile was on my face as the pair argued over a nickname for Utena. I stopped a few steps back watching Utena bind Bryant with a spell. I laughed slightly, covering it up with a quiet cough as I continued to watch.
