I fall asleep. as i go out the veiw opens and stars wheel by. the computer warns you when a nebula space cloud or meteor shower is about to drop in.

I ignored all of the computers warnings about the nebulas and meteor showers, until it alerted me to a large meteor shower happening not to far from our current position. I steered the ship in its direction and when we got close enough I sped up. My plan here was to weave in and out of the falling meteors, just to see if I could do.

the controls were sluggish and when they moved against her they came to a near miss. it appeared the ship wouldn't let her steer it wrong without a fight. eventually you two synced up and felt where the meteors were gonna be and moved as one weaving perfectly. you managed to figure out the timing when the ship would pull a direction you didn't want to go and moved with it.

"Come on you piece of machine!" the controls seemed to pull against my commands. I frown trying to get a hold of it. Eventually I got the hang of moving the ship without much fight. I laughed as I weaved the ship in and out of the meteors. "Oh shit!" I muttered under my breath, turning around quickly, hoping I didn't wake up Bryant. I turned back around and continued, finally getting out of the meteor field.

the display appeared outside the ship and pointed at a supernova and an ice cloud with comets streaming through with rainbow trails. both were in the exact same direction and more on course than the last attraction. AND would cut a day off the trip due to the gravity eddies created by the supernova.

I watched the trail the ship was making and smiled. "Excellent" I said, notting it's current side trip. I let the ship direct us the the supernova it found.

some of the eddies created whirlpools of the energy almost lie a sea. thee were unaffected by the explosions from the star and could be used to bounce through the system and even bypass it and the next.

I just watched as everything went by. My mouth was slightly agape and to say I was amazed, well that would be a bit of an understatement.

no... a.i. is artificial intelligence and wants to end humanity cuz of sin. that thing is actual intelligence with a knowledge of good and evil and a personal choice to be good. it cant be reprogrammed or shut off even if the hard drive is destroyed it will linger on in the power system of the ship and it can survive in a single cell of a machine... and still retain all its knowledge... its miraculous to be honest. and there is no scientific way in this universe to replicate it ever...
