The Fires burned across the land,
And reached for the sky.
Till the reached the vally point,
where everything was high and dry.
And one man said let there be destruction,
and there was a bright light,
and for when it darkened,
there was nothing in sight.
And so the man journeyed,
across the land,
Till he came to a point,
at the time at hand.
And he made a decision that changed his life,
He'd live for good instead of strife.

Poem Title: Death's Awakening

A little boy by the name of Ajae
Played ball, jumped rope, and skipped rocks like any other kid
But one day he got hit by a car
and never woke up
His life passed by and his family grew distant
His mother and father stopped caring
And his brother and sister stopped sharing
Everyday the little monitor by the side of his beep
But none of the beeps brought him closer to them
till one day the little monitor stop working
because of the pulled out plug by the wall
the money had stopped coming
so his days grew numbered
and his last vision
was of deaths awakening

Hell has no wrath
that's what the non believers say
but what do they know
when we suffer every day
They laugh and play
and say hey hey
while we lie and die
like the good man, oh my
What do they know when the fires burn and houses fall
when they sit in there beautiful house looking out a plexi glass wall
Hell has a terrible wrath all the real believers say
and all the fakes say oh ney oh ney
But there is a middle ground in this here life
where all blood is pure and empty of strife
where the real men go and hide and hide
so they can see the goodness deep inside
where all the young children go out to play
while there parents die on a corner everyday
all of my life i'm never seen something so dark
till i walked outside and saw a bomb in the park
the bomb ticked down till it reached zero
so all i could do was pray for a hero
but all that came was a real bright flash
and in its place was a nice pile of ash
all around destruction wrought
its more so than the terrorist ever thought
now i'm dead in the deepest reaches of hell
all because i ran after a small round bell
so now think about what you do before you do it
because next time it will be you who screwed it.
