A New Beginning

First topic message reminder :

I kept my head down attempting to hide it behind the collar of my coat which i had adjusted upwards. I glanced around and noted how many factories ran along this road. Over 5 factories and sadly this wasn't the industrial part of town.I inwardly scoffed at the thought and continued forward. I wiped a bit of ash off my face and glanced around trying to spot the smoke stack it had fallen from.

What a terrible city, crumbling under the governments idea of advancement. It was killing this city slowly and no one seemed to realize. I shook my head and stopped infront of an older looking house and knocked on the door, standing back waiting for an answer. After about a minute, the client I was meeting opened the door and let me inside.

I took hold of the case, opening it to expect it's contents. I nodded content and grabbed the case. "Well gentlemen it's been fun but I've got to be going". I began walking towards the large window. "What about my blueprints?" he said infruiated. "you won't be getting them", I said simply. I shifted the cases into the same hand drawing a gunblade.
The guards pulled guns on myself and I winked at them. "Bye fellas". I shot the window breaking it and jumped out. Once on the street I began running, knowing that they would be hot on my heels.

"Not that I'm truly taking offense to all of this, but, who are you to tell me what I can and can't do? If I wanted to kill you, I could, regardless of whatever the heck you are."

I sighed and took a pause before continuing.

"Also, you have a lot to learn about myself as well. If I know nothing or I know everything, knowledge is power to an extent. It won't do me good in the battle between us, when and if it comes. Bryant, the true show and enticement of a fight is the raw emotion surging between the two and of course welling up inside each individual just waiting to burst out."

Then I took a moment to think.

"I know you're trying to be a good friend, but, there's nothing you can do to cheer me up. And I do not like people who do not take responsibility for their actions alone, but, also the type of person that thinks that everything can be made good again by one simple little thing. It's not always that simple, you don't mean what you say when you say it, and come to think of it, I really don't like people like you."

i... i see... my mood dropped to depression but i fought it off knowing it would effect my abilities. but you should know that i do mean what i say just not when i laugh... i toughen up and think for half a moment. then since you understand true battle would you like to spar? i was dead serious about this and diceded to show her why i said what i said. she was right about battle but she didnt know my true strength and how deep it runs.

I continued to run down many streets making my way towards the Imaimashi Inc. Building. I knew I had to stash the cases somewhere. Although it would be obvious to hide them there, I doubted that was what they were truly after. This wasnt the first time i ripped this particular group of people off. I have done it two or three times before so they probably just wanted me dead and out of their way.
I began picking up speed until I reached the building. Once inside I threw the cases at my secretary and dashed out. I knew that she would lock down the building and alert all personal to be on their toes.
I was met with a group of goons outside. I smiled and took out my sword that was strapped to my back. It only took a moment before they were all taken care of. Just before I was about to run off a large amount of energy flew past me. I looked up to find a group of witches standing on an ajacent roof.
"Can't make this easy, can you?" I mutter to know one in particular as I began running again. I need to find Utena and Bryant or this wouldn't turn out to good.

I looked around, scanning the area around for something amiss, nothing. Well, if it not be now, it will come to be. That's just a fancy way of saying, it's coming.

I looked around too but, nothing seemed to be in the area at the moment. It was coming, but, what? What was coming? That's what I wanted to know. But, it seemed times of danger had brought us together once again.

I had scaled a building and was now jumping from the roof tops. It was distracting having stupid goons chasing after you while your trying to look for people. I got hit in the back and flew forward rolling slightly before jumping up. I turned angrily and pulled my gun blades on them firing. I killed one but the witches were able to block any attacks. I was hit again, this time harder and I flew off the roof landing heavily on my feet. As I straightened up, I noticed Utena and Bryant just down the street.

I noticed Mero fall off of a building and start to stand back up to dust herself off. She noticed us but it looked like she was the one in danger. Of course! That's what I sensed. There were other witches after her. For what reason? I have no clue. But, this couldn't be good. A determined look swept over my face and I ran towards her quickly.

"Mero, are you alright? I saw you fall.. where are they?"

I nodded my head only looking at her for a moment. I was to concentrated on the enemies above. "Up!" I called to her. That's when something caught my eye off to the left of myself. The man who I had been dealing business with was standing there with a malicious smile on his face. Next two him were to goons, who were mirroring his expression. I left the witches and other creatures alone, knowing that Utena and Bryant would be more then happy to get rid of them.

I turned my thoughts back to the man infront of me and survayed him. He wasnt the head honcho but that only meant that he could do more physical damage. Buttang attempt would be hopeless for they could only use mundane attacks. I twisted around and looked at the three and grinned wickedly. I was really going to enjoy this.

i jumped in to knock off the goons that were coming from the direction Mero was coming from but i was getting bored fast. soon they stopped to watch me stand staring them down and keeping them at bay but their numbers didnt stop growing.

when over a hundred grouped together they all charged and surrounded me but i simply jumped high into the air and punched the ground shattering it and caving it in with me and the goons getting buried in the crater. i burst out of their bodies with an energy shockwave and all but the strong goons ran like little chickens.

the strong ones radiated energy equal to half my normal output and five had gathered. little did they know that my "normal" energy level is a tiny bit compared to the deep resivors i have.

compared to humans these ones have have master training and understood the basics and advanced levels of energy control meaning they were all much stronger than they looked. i didnt panic and i pushed my energy down slowly to fool them into thinking i was only a bluffer they charge and fired their attacks but i stopped their energy and nearly killed them all with powerful kicks.

Not too far from the utter chaos going on below, Ventus was seated on the edge of a nearby building. Completely unaware of what was occuring below, the young boy continued reading the small map in his hands. His trench coat ruffled in the ominous wind, suddenly causing him to shift his eyes off the map and on the small crowd below. "Just what exactly is going on down there?" Ventus was curious; he now had the sudden urge to go down there and get a closer look.

Sliding his map into a pocket on the trench coat, he decided to slide off the edge, dropping about twelve meters down. He landed safely on the rooftop of a smaller building and was closer to the crowd, a girl and three other guys. This didn't seem to be a friendly encounter. "Excuse me! Is everything alright here?"

OOC: It's god mod. So what if you're really powerful you have to have some major weakness or set back or whatever, you know what I'm saying? and the goons you handle, I'll handle the witches.

"Yes, everything's fine sir, thank you."

I nodded as I had taken on the two witches that were with the group and Bryant had taken on the goons. We were in this and trying to protect Mero and defend the city all the same. I worried about what pissed them off later. But, as I was dodging the magic blasts from the witches firing at me and fighting back at my own pace. I seemed to have a determined air to me although a thing that was distracting me was this man's voice. It seemed familiar...

OOC: electric attacks and planet busters he cant recover from those oh and magic restraints getting out of those nearly kills him becuase his energy cant counter the energy that magic uses.

BIC: due to my brain rewiring my energy was nearly out but i was resting and enjoying watching the fights i wasn't apart of. you act and smell different than other people you must have some sort of powers huh? i was adressing the new arrival having never met him before.

I continued to battle the other two, handling the barely with my sword. I was a skilled swordsman but, a sword cannot stand up to that of magic. If this kept up, I'd have no choice but to use my magic. And, that voice would not distract me anymore, I needed to concentrate. I was handling them as best as I could.

"These two are witches, Bry. And I have no idea what this other one is, but, I know he has some power to him. He isn't ordinary. whoa!"

These witches were almost giving me all I could handle. But, soon enough, I would end it.

OOC: also if someone grabs my tail i get sick and lose my energy till they let go. at least for another few months then it wont work anymore but im planning on cutting it off and regrowing it making it a weakness again.

Other than the girl who was currently facing the three men, there was another group, another female and a male. The male had asked him something about having a different smell than humans and possessing powers. "Yeah, I guess you can say I'm not your average person." These two, their energies weren't normal as well. And when scanned no evil intent is detected, so they're good. Who exactly were they up against though?

"Hey, you need a hand? He reached for the handles of his Twin Wolves, a pair of special magnums, his special guns.

I continued to battle. So he wasn't human or the average person, as he put it. And, I could tell he was reading me. He's right, he was a bit startled by the fact we weren't normal either. But, nonetheless, he was correct.

I took the time to look around. Utena had her hands full as did Bryant. There was also a new comer, who I was unfamiliar with. I looked back at the guards around us and sighed. These where only expendables, and nothing more. That's when I spotted their leader and the man who I had the pleasure of doing business with. I smirked and walked towards him fighting off anyone who attacked me.

OOC: you guys fight like little children >.> can't we all just get along? xD

Ventus was astonished. Although they were all outnumbered, they didn't need an extra man. This only meant one thing, they were strong enough to handle it themselves. He scratched the top of the hat and smiled under the scarf that covered his lower face. "Haha! I guess I'll just watch!" Bummer! Yet again Ventus was left with nothing to do. He dropped down to the rooftop floor and seated himself, crossing both legs. "Good luck!"

OOC: Lol. Yes but very mature children for our age. xD Just kidding, I'm trying to keep this RP site natural like the way it was before and fair and just.

"You know what, I've had enough of you two. If using my sword won't work..."

I heard him wish me good luck which was nice of him and I just listened to his kind words while I sheathed my sword and prepared myself to attack. They both stopped for a moment and looked at me questioningly. They wanted to know what my next move was. But face twisted into a determined confidence. I summoned my strength and magic within myself. From my outward appearance, it would appear as if I were just breathing in and out and doing those breathing exercises they do in the workout videos or sometimes martial artists do to release their chi. This was only a ruse to trick them and confuse them into thinking I was wasting their time. Inside my head, through my own thoughts... I chanted..

'Darkness beyond the darkest pitch, twilight from crimson blood that flows. Buried in the stream of time is where your power grows...''

At this time a more dark aura would surround me, my eyes closed shut. A bit of wind would resonate from the amount of power being released and blow through my hair and even back a bit so that Bryant could feel it, as well as that other guy, Ventus. Then, inside my mind, I continued. The witches knew I was summoning something but obviously did not feel threatened and so they continued to watch me and wait for the attack as if it wouldn't affect them at all and then they could destroy me with their immense powers. Oh how little they truly knew.

'I pledge myself to thee.... swear myself to thee. Let the fools that stand before me be destroyed by the power you and I possess...'

Power just seemed to increase and resonate off of me. Right now, I was emitting such high levels of magical power that it would be off a chart rating. This drew power from the Lord of Nightmares or that who rules over the darkness in this world directly. I knew this was extremely risky for me and everyone else, but, I knew how to handle it. I had another attack up my sleeve, several, actually. The power continued to stay at the level it was at now and I slowly opened my eyes, revealing them to be a darker blue color. Then I smirked only slightly as I spoke these words calmly but cooly.

"Dragon... slave.."

With that an eruption of a fiery darkness seemed to appear right on target and encase the two witches. All I had to do was smile and snap my fingers and then BOOM it exploded, leaving them no more. I could see that Mero had gotten herself into a mess and everything died down. I was no longer powered up, my eyes faded back to their normal color and the aura had disappeared. I sighed out and breathed calmly, calming myself more. And although that's what needed to be done to stop the witches from further attacking me and possibly defeating me, I still had sympathy for the massive amount of land that was destroyed by my destructive blast. But, I quickly looked to Mero and Bryant to see who needed assistance. But, I couldn't tell, so I asked.

"Hey, do one of you two need a hand?"

OOC: I know, I know. If any of you have seen the anime Slayers (which is a REALLY good anime) then you know of that spell as one of Lina Inverse's spells called the Dragon Slave. You see, when thinking up spells sometimes I am not as creative as my mind leads me on to be. So when casting a specific type of magic, I have to take from what I already know. So I give all rights to the makers of Slayers and not to myself. I used the spell, this is just a disclaimer. So please if someone has a problem, do not take it up with, but if you feel you must, PM me. Just wanted to let you know in case any of you have seen the anime and was like HEY she copied. That is all thank you. And also, I apologize for the long post. Had a lot to say.
