A New Beginning

First topic message reminder :

I kept my head down attempting to hide it behind the collar of my coat which i had adjusted upwards. I glanced around and noted how many factories ran along this road. Over 5 factories and sadly this wasn't the industrial part of town.I inwardly scoffed at the thought and continued forward. I wiped a bit of ash off my face and glanced around trying to spot the smoke stack it had fallen from.

What a terrible city, crumbling under the governments idea of advancement. It was killing this city slowly and no one seemed to realize. I shook my head and stopped infront of an older looking house and knocked on the door, standing back waiting for an answer. After about a minute, the client I was meeting opened the door and let me inside.

I felt the urge to hit both of them for turning this into an uncomfortable and annoying situation, but I resisted. I just simply smiled hoping that the annoyed emotion inside of me wouldn't seep through. After a minute I answered. "Of course I like you, you are my friend after all. But as far as anything else goes, i do not like you..." I had felt kind of bad about what I said and I hoped it wasn't said to harshly.

I watched as this whole scene played out before me. I honestly had the most amusing friends anyone could ever have, in my opinion. But, I noticed I was slowly being dragged into this by Mero's physical actions. I smiled and only continued to watch as things were "heating up". I chuckled, this was just too good.

"While dining and dashing may be easier, Mero, I suggest we go to a diner. For one thing, it will serve our needs of eating, since we're hungry. And secondly, we can all talk in peace and share stories with one another. In a way, we can catch up."

I started on my walk again with Ventus right next to me.

"Well, you know this town better than any of us, Mero, so lead the way."

i look sort of butt hurt but it doesnt show for more than a moment. i walk with utena wondering where this diner was and what kind of food it served.

I laughed slightly embarrassed, "Well you see... I don't know where anything is. Aside from City Hall and my office".

"Well Bryant, don't you have some sort of keen animalistic sense to you that's able to smell food from a mile away. I mean, you do sorta have a good nose for those kinds of things."

I thought a moment more before speaking once again.

"So, if you can, why don't you try to locate a place for us to eat?"

i do but ive learned that my senses tend to ruin the fun of adventureing so i learned how to control them. only when im in battle or expecting it can my senses be used like that.

"Sure Brandon, I'll teach yah!" He smiled and walked ahead of the group, taking lead position. "If you need help finding a place to eat, I'd be glad to take you to a stop I happened to come across on my way here!"

He walked at a steady pace, allowing the others to follow him without rushing. If they weren't here, he'd be rushing to the diner as quickly as he can. "You guys are going to love this place!"

I followed quickly behind everyone with a dazed smile on my face. I hadn't realized that I was hungry until the topic of food was brought up, so it left me dreaming of delicious dishes.

i looked back at mero and smiled evilly creeping up behind the dazed girl i whispered fish holding the "sh" sound for a moment.

I jumped and snapped out of my dazed state. "thanks for that," I said rolling my eyes. "I was dreaming of good food then you go and ruin it with fish".

I cringed and looked away for a moment, not liking the sound of that word.

youre such a child this is an evil luagh. my aura seeps out blackened and the sky darkens as my darkness energy installs fear and despair in all who are near my voice becomes demonic and my fangs and claws grow my eyes turn blood red and i use my jericho yell at the sky for an evil laugh that shakes the country.

Ventus chuckled, Brandon and Mero were at it again. He was pretty sure that they liked each other, even though they denied it. Or maybe just one liked the other. "We're almost there!" They were now passing through an alley-way. If they were still following him they'd see bright light at the end of the alley.

The restaurant was just outside on the street; Jo's BBQ. "We are here!! Some good old BBQ!"

that was the demon lord's laugh only the most powerful demon can laugh like that. and yours was a human trying to act tough. i pulled in my aura and the darkness quickly and returned to what was normal for them.

I looked at the BBQ place like it was god, all whilst ignoring Brandon. The air smelt like bbq. "What are we doing still outside, lets eat!" I skipped happily over to the door.
