A New Beginning

First topic message reminder :
I kept my head down attempting to hide it behind the collar of my coat which i had adjusted upwards. I glanced around and noted how many factories ran along this road. Over 5 factories and sadly this wasn't the industrial part of town.I inwardly scoffed at the thought and continued forward. I wiped a bit of ash off my face and glanced around trying to spot the smoke stack it had fallen from.
What a terrible city, crumbling under the governments idea of advancement. It was killing this city slowly and no one seemed to realize. I shook my head and stopped infront of an older looking house and knocked on the door, standing back waiting for an answer. After about a minute, the client I was meeting opened the door and let me inside.

I felt a warm force hook arms with my own and I had to assume it was one of my friends. I don't think Bryant or Ventus would do such a thing, it had to be Mero. I was totally fine with this and I was in a bit of a daze, but, I was completely fine and needed to reassure her of that. And just as I thought I needed to say something, she asked me herself.

Ventus looked around before entering the BBQ restaurant. The smell of the food had Ventus's mouth watering up; he was famished and wanted a good meal! "I can't wait to eat some ribs!! And the best part is that I know the owner!! We get free meals!" He rushed over to an open table and seated himself, opening the menu and reading all the meals. "Ribs...Ribs...Ribs..."
Ventus looked around before entering the BBQ restaurant. The smell of the food had Ventus's mouth watering up; he was famished and wanted a good meal! "I can't wait to eat some ribs!! three sides of beef (whole ribcages) rare, two platters of salad no cabbage, bean sprouts, spinach, steamed brocoli with american chees melted over it. leek stew, 20 steamed pork buns, 10 octopus puffs, and an order of pufferfish. oh and an empty glass.
