First topic message reminder :

the breeze drifted through the summer heat cooling everything. it was pallet town i was laying near the sea on the beach in the shade. this recent summer was cooler than normal as every day had a stable breeze from the sea. i sat watching the water pokemon playing in the shallows magikarp tentacool crabby staryu and shellder.And even on a rock a slowpoke laid down with its tail in the water. i sighed happily enjoying the peace. i had this ability to understand the pokemon as did my friend Mizuki as if they were talking in english. she was due to arrive any time and i was drifting into a shallow sleep listening to the voices of the water pokemon.

today was the day we choose our first pokemon. i knew she would choose squirtle the water turtle type pokemon while i would choose charmander the fire salamander type pokemon. as i sat lazily on the beach a shadow appeared over me. i looked up expecting my friend only to see professer oak. "well hello there Bryant i see you are enjoying the sea and the pokemon as always." i squint my eyes looking at him. yes. im waiting for mizuki we were going to play with the water pokemon before we made our selection. professor oak sat next to me gazing at the ocean "pokemon are tryly miraculous creatures you can learn alot just from watching them interact with eachother." i nod each one has a heart and a dream i wouldn't be surprized if one or two wanted to come with us on our journey.

i get frustrated and turn around. Gero. i think we should go back and just head north. if we run into a pokemon ill catch it but til then i want my first badge i start to walk back and feel lighter.

I was humming to myself, then finishing fastening one of those blue bandanas as well around Psyduck's neck. I made it look cute but of course didn't tie it too tight, as I didn't wish to choke him. I smiled.

"There. And I think I'll just keep you Psyduck. You're too ... memorable to change..."

I made a joke. I looked to Tentacool, still on my lap. "And I'm sure I'll think up a name for you soon. No worries." I giggled.

WAAAAAHHHHHH MIZUKI RUUUUUUUUUN! a swarm of beedrill are following me as i run back to where mizuki is. i pick up a sleeping charmander and turn left and take off north to pweter thinking if we can get away fro the forest we will be okay.

"Wha! Bryant! What the hell did you do?!"

All of my pokemon hopped back in their pokeballs, except Turq who hopped into my bookbag and zipped it up almost all the way. I grabbed it and slung it on my back and began to follow him as we ran from the swarm of Beedrill chasing us. Crap, what had he gotten himself into this time?

panting and running i answer NOTHING they just swarmed me becuase i got close to their nest. we ran and ran and at the edge of the woods they scattered and i panted. well looks like were safe for now... hey Gero how are ya buddy? "poli!" is cheered happily and jumped on my face slapping my shoulders with doubleslap. i drop Draco who wakes up and blows an ember at me.

I panted and decided I was too out of breath to be concerned with what it was he did or what angered them so badly enough to swarm him- us. I leaned on my knees, in a slightly keeled over position, recovering lost breath.

"Are you alright guys?" All of my pokemon answered with their names as a yes and I smiled. "Good."

i smiled and call out my pidgy well what do you say to a battle mizuki. i need to train for the rock gym. three on three. i smile and decide to use this as an opportunity to teach my pokemon to dodge attacks.

"One at a time, I hope you mean!" I sent out Psyduck first. I smirked, ready for battle. And wondering where you got that Pidgey. Perhaps I'd been so caught up the name business I hadn't remembered you attaining one.

pidgey sand attack. it flaped up sand to get into psyducks eyes and make it harder for it to aim.

"Psyduck, shield your eyes now."

I didn't want Psyduck's eyes getting damaged, that would be the worst case scenario. I knew I'd have to make a comeback somehow. If I knew him, he'd go straight into another attack from there, hoping I was right. I'd have to come up with a plan but what? Think Mizuki, think!

gust then sand attack while it is off guard. i shout as pidgey takes off and creates a small whirlwind to attack and follows it with a sand attack.

"Psyduck, use reflect!"

I smiled.

"I love a pokemon that is psychic and water, they know psychic type moves that really help! Catch me if you can, Bryant!" I stuck my tongue out and then commanded Psyduck when I was sure it was safe from the gust and the sand attack. I commanded it to target the Pidgey and use confusion, which it did.

"Good job Psyduck." :]

quickattack! pidgey vanished diving low to increase its sleep about to hit the reflect. NOW GUST BEFRRE YOU HIT! using the speed of the quickattack it doubled the power of the gust to attack.

Psyduck was again protected from the oncoming attack from the Pidgey.

"Alright, use psychic attack!" Psyduck did so and aimed for the bird pokemon.

"Cool Psyduck, now slam it to the ground!" It did as told and then let go of Pidgey.

"Follow it up with a water gun attack now!" I commanded and hoped it worked.

pidgey was still stunnded from hitting the ground and being unable to move as it revocered i shouted for it to dodge but it was too late the watergun hit and pidgey was teetering on its feet. befor eit snaped out of in tired but okay for the moment. sand attack again!then gust

This time Psyduck was too caught in the reverie of him and his lovely trainer working together to dodge the sand attack that hit him straight in the eyes. And then the gust blew him off his feet. That dummy! He should be paying attention to the battle, not to my eyes!

I growled myself. "Come on Psyduck, recover from that hit! Alright, Psyduck... let's hit them with a straight on tackle!" I smirked and Psyduck ran straight in. I commanded before he reached Pidgey. "Use fury swipes!" He did as told!

Dodge and climb with Quickattack. then use gust! it flew up with quick attack and started to flap its wings for a gust attack.

Fly higher and use qickattack to attack him! this was gonna be close. and they collide with eachother with a small axplosion.

"Oh no!" And they collided. BOOM! There was a bit of smoke surrounding the battlefield now, what was going to happen? And who would emerge victorious for the first round after the dust cleared? I watched with dire interest.
