First topic message reminder :

the breeze drifted through the summer heat cooling everything. it was pallet town i was laying near the sea on the beach in the shade. this recent summer was cooler than normal as every day had a stable breeze from the sea. i sat watching the water pokemon playing in the shallows magikarp tentacool crabby staryu and shellder.And even on a rock a slowpoke laid down with its tail in the water. i sighed happily enjoying the peace. i had this ability to understand the pokemon as did my friend Mizuki as if they were talking in english. she was due to arrive any time and i was drifting into a shallow sleep listening to the voices of the water pokemon.

today was the day we choose our first pokemon. i knew she would choose squirtle the water turtle type pokemon while i would choose charmander the fire salamander type pokemon. as i sat lazily on the beach a shadow appeared over me. i looked up expecting my friend only to see professer oak. "well hello there Bryant i see you are enjoying the sea and the pokemon as always." i squint my eyes looking at him. yes. im waiting for mizuki we were going to play with the water pokemon before we made our selection. professor oak sat next to me gazing at the ocean "pokemon are tryly miraculous creatures you can learn alot just from watching them interact with eachother." i nod each one has a heart and a dream i wouldn't be surprized if one or two wanted to come with us on our journey.

Psy-psyduck. it almost blushed mimiking your hand movent on the back of its head.

i burst out luaghing. hey he loves the idea of helping you lets invite him along. we could always use a good pokemon like him with us. te psyduck gave me a blank stare uninterested in me at all. Psy? seemed to be asking "who are you?" i drop with my feet in the air then stand. awe cmon buddy you know me... im Brandon. i got close to its face with a wide smile. see?

with a sudden action psyduck bit my nose clamping onto it and i yelled in pain as it continued to have an oblivious stare. OW OWOWOWOWOWOWOW OW let go im not your enemy. Psy?

"I have a feeling he'd follow me to the ends of the Earth and it still wouldn't be enough. We could leave him with your mom, and he'd still find his way back to me."

I blushed from a little bit of embarrassment. It was nuzzling my leg. Grrrrrrrrrrreat.
I started to walk away, sighing and shaking my head, not knowing what to do. I expected Psyduck to follow me.

i turned to the flock as the drew closer then i let poliwag out and smiled. DRACO FROGGER EMBER! BUBBLE! they fired at the head of the flock slowing it down a small ammount.

"Alright I'm not letting you have all the glory! Come on Squirtle and Tentacool! ... And Psyduck too I guess.." I sighed and commanded the two pokemon I had for certain into the battle.

"Squirtle, use tackle and Tentacool try and poison them with toxic!" I smirked; This battle was ours!

DRACO COVER SQUIRTLE WITH EMBER! FROGGER USE HYPNOSIS ON THE UNINJURED OF THE FLOCK THEN BUBBLE THEM! draco spewed ember at anything attacking squirtle letting it tack on what it wanted as the rear group of the flock was put to sleep only to be blasted by a bubble attack half the flock was taken down due to our combined efforts.

Frogger switch to watergun Draco full spread with ember hit them all. they did and the flock fell and they even hit the fallen to make sure they stayed down. soon due to our compinded efforts the flock limped away and the knocked out ones stayed down. YES! you guys ROCK your pokemon too mizuki.

"Thanks, you're pretty good yourself. But no match for me." I stuck my tongue out and called Tentacool back to its ball and placed Squirtle back in my backpack. He made himself comfortable and sat there, waiting for me to walk and incidentally rock him to sleep.

"Now what to do with you Psyduck?"

I scratched my head in confusion. He'd really followed me all the way here huh?

"Psy? Psyduck." he poked an empty pokeball on the button on accident nd was pulled into it. it rocked and made the capture tone. i luaghed. dawwwwe he want's to be your pokemon. raise him well buddy. i smile walking and draco follows and smiles at squirtle. CHAR! "good work rival"

I blinked. Well, that solved that problem. I latched the pokeball onto my belt and continued on my way. I smiled, feeling exhilarated and confident after that battle. I gripped the straps on my bag and started taking longer strides. Taking the lead from Bryant.

"Come on Bryant. Let's go!"

I giggled.

And I began to confidently lead us in one direction, holding onto the straps of my bag and walking happily along.

An innumerable amount of time and steps later...

"Where are we-...?"

I mumbled to Squirtle secretively. To which he just shrugged, telling me he didn't know. My back was to my friend and I a small distance from him, standing in front of him in this wide open field. Yep, we were definitely lost. But I couldn't let him know that!

there were heat waves coming off me and draco walked with its arms behind its head and a smug look on its face. taking us through open fields when the path is fine... shortcut my ass... i fumed grinding my teeth and glaring. Mander char charmander char char.. "see i told you she would go the wrong way rival. she isn't too smart."

"Excuse me! I know where I'm going directions officer!" I crossed my arms and huffed. "Besides, who wants to take a boring ol' straight path when you can go this route? I mean it's so beautiful! The pokemon come out and play here and they all get along, and there's pretty flowers and a nice breeze and everything! So there. Hmph."

I stuck my tongue out at him. And I could feel a fight was eminent. Not only that, but unbeknownst below us, our pokemon were fighting too. Squirtle jumped out of my backpack and to the ground, yawning before replying back to Charmander's complaint.

"Squirtle... squirt.. squir.. squirtle."
"My master is as bad with directions as anyone else."

Well there are the same flowers on the path as there are here and the path is marked so people don't get lost like you did. i got angry at her absentmindedness i was on my way to a gym battle to be stronger and she takes this open field getting lost.

a spark glinted in Draco's eye as it smugly replied, Char mander charmander char. "not my master i guess that makes my master better than yours." he said to tuant squirtle.

"We ARE. NOT. Lost. We're simply passing through a field right now that we're unfamiliar with and admiring the scenery. And it also appears arguing about which route to take, or we should have taken, when we both know it's too late for that!"

It seemed we were going to be at each other's throats. Why not? I was already in his face.

"My master isn't dumb! Yours is! At least MY master has a gentle touch. Yours doesn't know the difference between loving touch and loving not-so-much!"

Squirtle got in Charmander's face too.

unfamiliar means lost. your lucky i can get us back on the right path or i would just knock you out and carry you back the way we came.

"he does so. its your master who is so stupid to not notice that my master like her and his touch is gentle you know how fragile poliwag are. he cares and has a loving heart. only the pokemon of a dummy like her can't see that"

our tempers were hot and our blood boiling this would turn into a fight to see who was right

"Oh come now, Bryant, you wouldn't hit a girl now, would you?"

I was playing on his nerves. Other days I didn't care if he hit me or he was mending my wounds, right now it was all about beating the other's temper out. And I was determined to win. I stared back at him angrily.

"And besides, I knew where I was going!" I shouted.

Then the pokemon continued arguing as well, seeming to want to compete against one another in a battle of whose master was the best.

"My master is definitely the kindest and the caring there ever was! She knows how to treat pokemon better than your master and she knew where she was going!"

Squirtle pressed his forehead angrily against Draco's and stared him directly in the eyes. It seemed real fights were underway.

Draco spewed an ember from his mouth as i punch you in the forehead. YES I WOULD YOU AND I BOTH KNOW YOU ARE MORE THAN JUST A GIRL my fist burned red from the pain of hitting my friend. i hated it but she got me so mad. it hurt me more than her.

"my master cares. he just has a hard time showing it becuase he has a gentle touch and he is always so worried about hurting anyone near him." draco was taling like he knew me for years but there was a bond between us and our pokemon. unmatched by anything.

He punched me?! I can't believe he actually hit me! I stumbled backward and charged back at him, anger in my eyes. I was going to get back at him. I growled.

"What's that supposed to mean huh?!"

I walked over and slapped him straight across the face. This was a battle I didn't want to fight. But it was going to be a battle anyway. I could tell, and now even our pokemon were beginning to physically fight, having the anger in us boil our blood enough to make our limbs move.

"You wanna go fire boy...?"

Squirtle toughed asked back as it neutralized the ember with a small water attack. A little water gun that put it out. And then he glared at the Charmander with hate in his eyes. He could attack all he wanted, but Squirtle had the advantage.

"you BET!" Draco flared and growled to lower squirtles offensive power following with a scratch attack

it means i can still get out of here and go the right way. unfortunatley the closest city is cerulean see that hill? i point at a brown protrusion not too far away. that is the diglett tunnel it connects pewter cerulewan and vermilion. i fumed trying to calm down i hated hitting my friends and especially a girl. but our pokemon started fighting.

My eyes widened as soon as I was able to pull myself apart from him.

"Wait, Cerulean?"

I looked at the ground and then at the thing he pointed at. Were we really that close to Cerulean and I hadn't even known? And then came the panicking and my eyes found his form again.

"No... no no no no no no no no - uh we can't go to Cerulean. Let's not go there. I mean there are so many other towns and cities that are nicer! I know! Why don't we go to Pewter or Vermillion sounds nice too. You don't wanna go to Cerulean. Trust me."

I spewed out nervously. I threw my arms out and looked him straight in the eyes. Squirtle caught sight of me and stopped doing what he was doing. He didn't know if he should attack or stop, he was more confused wanting to know what was going on between Bryant and I at the moment.
