Utena's Poem

Watching all this happen's like a one ticket train
Off-peak centered feelings
That are never really plain.
And that's okay,
I guess,
I got a limited fame.
This coming from a pessimist,
Who used to be the opposite.
..Shame.
But I'm watching from the outside,
Out of focus,
Out of lens,
So deeply out of touch
And with an impassioned sense of
Play Pretend.
Let's deconstruct further,
and mess around my own timeline;
because all I'm seeing are times happening
that aren't, but, should be mine.
And that's okay too,
I guess,
You know,
Watching from a window pane.
As long as I don't get too far out of focus,
Out of picture,
So much that I'm holding it
Looking at that frame.
...Shame...
