"Okay, this and the portal opening are the two things I need your help for. It has to be a team effort, it has to be that you're willing to do this. It is your choice, you have to back it up. As a witch, I cannot force you to do something you innately don't want to do, but, I can amplify what you do want. But, I need to know, you're absolutely sure about this?"

I placed the flask on the ground next to my feet gently and awaited for her nod or shake or even voice to tell me of her final decision. I would need that information before I decided to press forward.

"Alright, let's do this then."

With that I began concentrating, placing my hands together as if I were praying. I closed my eyes accordingly and sudden a white light surrounded both of us, encasing us and giving us both a light feeling for a moment. I would need to be steady and strong, it's not everyday you worked with someone's soul. Mero would soon feel more flighty and free, and have a feeling gradually growing as she left her body. She would feel as if she were detaching from something she was stuck to her whole life. And suddenly, within a flash, a little ball of white light, Mero's soul, flew into my own body and made itself a home inside of me. It was then that I knew I could stop concentrating. I caught Mero's falling and lifeless body as I laid it on the ground, trying to catch my breath. It was a spell I never really did use.

'I have to catch my breath first before I begin to cast the spell to open the portal... that is if I can remember it... if not, I'll have to improvise...'

I tried to wrap my head- or myself in Utena's head- around the situation. I had heard her thought and I didn't dare move until she was ready again. I was a little nervous that I might screw something up if I did. "This defiantly feels different".

I spoke and when I did my words came out of Utenas mouth. "Yeah, I'm fine. I think you feel funny because I'm inside you". With that I snickered, "Ha! That's what he said!"

I said with an amused expression on my face. It was clear to see that the sentence she just exclaimed entertained me, but, this was how we joked. Oh Mero ^^.

This must be some sight for people passing by. I am talking to myself as if someone was inside me. Wait, someone was inside me. And she was going to answer back, but, to others, I looked like a mental case. Well, now I know where I'm going when I finish this mission... xD

I snickered at her thoughts but then became serious. "To be honest with you, I'm not entirely sure.I've never really dabbled in magic before. Maybe theres a book shop around her that offers answers?" I spoke inside her mind as to not make her look to crazy.

"Well, I don't think you need to have experience in magic to do this. Just... hm, lend me your power, energy type stuff. And I'll use mine combined with yours to build up its strength with an incantation and then cast it. Although it may feel a little strange at first, it won't hurt you."

I smiled and suddenly the three people that were passing by me, looked and stared at me with O.O faces as if I had gone mad. I thought inside my head to Mero..

'And I still look like a nutcase..'

"You can always think what you need to say". I laughed this time it was out loud. I then tested the waters and found that I was able to flip off the passerby-ers. I then told Utena that I would lend her my power.

I nodded and started to concentrate. Raising both of my hands in front of me and closing my eyes once more. I let go of my inhibitions. As my soul's wavelength would tell Mero, I was a bit nervous to do this myself seeing as how I never really did it. But, we had to try.

'Alright, get ready, Mer. And leave all the casting and chanting to me. >:3'

'I call upon the forces of good and evil, of all resident life from this spiritual planet. Lend me your efforts in the opening of the portal. Lend them to me and allow me to command your powers. Allow us together to walk the path of distortion and reprimand. The path between two worlds shall become one. The doorway that connects us to our demonic brethren shall become mine and obey my command to open...'

The power was building as the wind was intensely blowing the opposite direction of my hands. I still had my eyes closed, my body encased in a bright white light, brighter than any other light that came before it.

"Door that fosters the power of beast and man, obey my will and OPEN!"

I opened my eyes and watched as the area my hands were pointing at started to move around as if it were gelatin. Then a dark power resonated from out of its center, almost like it was oozing, a bit. And suddenly from the dark power came the door to the demonic realm. I couldn't believe it! We had actually done it, and now it was time to go through it and see what it looked like... on the other side.

'There it is... Mero...'

I mocked as I reached for the doorknob to turn it and open the door to the other realm, the demonic realm. Slowly opening it, I stepped through... and... whoa. Things were definitely different.

I rolled my eyes- her eyes. "Him him I am the bloody queen miss smarty pants". I laughed and looked around. I wasn't too surprised by our surroundings because I had been here before.

'You've been here before but you don't know where we are. Well that's helpful. I see you've learned how to work my eyes and my arms. Anything else you want to take over while you're at it, sire?'

Ah, sarcasm, it's flavor is my delight. We continued to walk anyway, but, Mero still didn't know where we were. And if she didn't know, I didn't know.

After walking for a moment more and turning a few corners, if this dark realm had any that were clear, I saw a giant structure surrounded by darkness. It pulsated the message of evil and it would destroy anything that crossed its path the wrong way. It was like a living beast itself encrusted with the power of iniquity. My eyes opened a little more to the sight of it and then I quickly thought...

'Nevermind.. found it.'

I looked at the demon girl through Utenas eyes. "How did you know it was me?" I was curious to know this since I was talking inside Utenas head and if I did talk out loud I sounded like her too.
